My oldest child is now "Two Whole Hands" - it's hard to believe how she has grown, and that I've been trying to figgerout how to be someone's mom for ten years now. She looked just like her dad. I worked hard to have Maggie. A wonderful chain of events left me "epidural-less" in this modern world. Looking back now, I am thankful to have experienced that pain. In the 17 hours that it took me to have Maggie, I experienced the pain, and the joy, of the world. It is joyful to nurture children as they grow an...

The kids have this funny question for me: "Mom, what song was I born to? They ask me this not because I played music while I was in labor (Seriously, who would want to miss out on hearing me swear in three different languages at Mike? Do you girls hafta keep playing that disco music over and over again? My favorite Jazz anthems are, of course, ...

I've never been accused of being a genius. Perhaps there was some potential there once, don't really know - but I found plenty that I liked in school (including Geometry - it was fun! 160;I found college to be easier than high school - not because of the subject matter, but because I had finally figured out that way that I learn best, and I could manipulate whatever was being taught to me, so that I could understand it. It took me a while to "get" my brain. As I celebrate my wedding anniversary tonight...

The Wheel is Moving to a new site! Please follow this blog here:. Http:/ jenniesjustright.wordpress.com/. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Inspired by a friend's blog - I thought this would be a fun way to awaken the now dormant creativity that I used to use when I was a classroom teacher. Most of my time is now spent behind the SQUEAKY WHEEL of a haggard minivan, "driving by braille" and freaking-out the neighbors with Captain America and our four children. View my complete profile. Coming to the Table. On the day of Maggie's first communion, we celebrated another. The baptism of our Godson, Colson.
