The Crafty Unicorn Quilting: Thread Co-Op
http://thecraftyunicornquilting.blogspot.com/p/thread-co-op.html
We quilt, therefore we need thread. And who doesn't like great thread at a good price? That's why the Thread Co-op started. I was placing an order and adding on special orders here and there, so why not get every one's orders together at once? The rules are pretty simple. Any retail product on the Superior Threads. You will get a 20% discount off the retail price of thread and 10% off the retail price of non-thread items. There's no discount on color cards since they are already at cost. Will this work f...

The Crafty Unicorn Quilting: Christmas...a little early
http://thecraftyunicornquilting.blogspot.com/2013/11/christmasa-little-early.html
Monday, November 25, 2013. Christmas.a little early. Ok, I admit it, I can't resist a sale at the Stencil Company. (That's quiltingstencils.com if you are interested). Look what the mailman just brought. A few feathery motifs for corners. I think these will make nice medallions too. And a background fill and flames border. Just a little diversity. Now back to work! The Crafty Unicorn Quilting: October 2012
http://thecraftyunicornquilting.blogspot.com/2012_10_01_archive.html
Tuesday, October 09, 2012. Like everyone else, my summer has flown by. There have been adventures and absurdities but those stories will wait. This past Saturday was the 3rd annual Harvest Quilt and Craft show, and if you couldn't attend you missed some great quilts. It isn't the same as being there, but here is a glimpse of the show. The quilts are hung against the walls and we have craft vendors in the center. Right out of the strip bin! Marty's Stack 'n Whack. It's amazing how different the blocks...

The Crafty Unicorn Quilting: What I did today
http://thecraftyunicornquilting.blogspot.com/2013/11/what-i-did-today.html
Monday, November 18, 2013. What I did today. No apologies for being a bad blogger. Just a fresh start. I have just settled into bed with a cup of tea and decided to review the day. Why not review it here? Made pancakes for breakfast and 4 loaves of bread for the rest of the week. Caught-up the mailing list and printed the labels for the Ruggles House bulk mailing. Wrote and emailed the press release for the Christmas Tea event at the Ruggles House (Sunday December 8 if you are interested). Sadie and the ...

The Crafty Unicorn Quilting: April 2013
http://thecraftyunicornquilting.blogspot.com/2013_04_01_archive.html
Friday, April 12, 2013. Two posts in two days. Oh my.What a day! I started with a walking tour of the winning quilts given by Cathy Wiggins. It was wonderful to hear and see exactly why one quilt won and another got second or an honorable mention, or no ribbon at all. Especially when this is a winner in one category. This is the winner in another category.. This is best of show. Other pictures will be coming as I get them sorted and edited. Is the beginning of something like this. Links to this post.

I am a transplanted Floridian now living in small-town Maine. and loving it. As much time as possible is spent as a long-arm quilter. Traditional quilts are my favorites. When not quilting, I can be found working in the garden or renovating the shop and our 1856 farmhouse. View my complete profile. Quilt for an Hour.
