Wednesday, March 17, 2010. Want to know a work out? Over the mlk holiday weekend. I tried this out for my first time. With my friends on saturday,. Then again on monday. Let's just say they had mad skills. Compared to the poky lil puppy. She's even smiles while skiing! There's only pure concentration in my facial expressions. In holding up the back. Who raced in high school and college. She never even seemed winded! If you want to work for it. Also so much more quieter than snow shoeing. But it was cloudy.

Sunday, November 18, 2012. After strolling through some friends' blogs this morning. I guess i could blog. It's been a less climatic weekend. I did notes for work most of saturday. Friday night we did go to see "seussical" the musical. Which was actually fun. I'm not in love with most musicals. Today we're doing a waffle feed. Seems like the right thing to do. These pics are from our yard and down our gravel road street. I love fall leaves. But in oregon lots of the trees don't turn. I get my orange fix.

We spent Cristmas eve with our friends, the Trenkles. Parker made amazing ribs, and I bought lots of yummy snacks and drinks.okay I made some instant potatoes too. Gotta give myself some credit baby. After we ate and played some games, the kids got dressed for the nativity. It was so fun watching them get ready and use their imaginations for props. Kylee was Mary, Boy #1 and #2 were the shepherds and wise men. I guess we didn't have a Joseph.oh well. Wise men giving the baby Jesus gifts. Mr and Mrs Claus...

We tried to make the most of December and keep busy with fun crafts. I am still tired from finding ideas and getting stuff ready! McKinley punching out her stickers. These foam trees were really easy. They came with stickers to decorate the tree. So pretty and fun with no mess for mommy to clean up while wondering "what I was thinking.". Reid Family: Halloween!

Our ward had a party with pizza, games, and of course a trunk or treat. It was a lot of fun. My friend Lisa with her little dog and me with my little kitty. These two are six weeks apart. McKinley was super girl. She is showing off some plastic fangs she won playing one of the games. Kylee was dora, but the princess one. She change her mind about her costume a million times. I didn't know what she was going to be even that morning. She also won some cute teeth from a game. Kylee taking a ride in the wagon.

Three families moved out of the ward just before Christmas. We were sad to see them go, so we had a going away party. One last good time with our friends before they left. All the kids decorating their gingerbread Christmas trees. I got this idea from pinterest.of course. I didn't have to make houses ahead of time, so a win in my book. The girls had fun using their creativity, and stacking as much candy on their trees as they could. They took turns hiding and looking for the jingle bell.
