Monday, March 7, 2011. My dad is from Chicago - I bet not too many of you knew that! Anyway, he lived most of his childhood/adolescence here and hasn't really been back since he got married. Tuesday, July 20, 2010. For the past two weeks, Adam has been off work and helping me with our new babe. We haven't been doing much of anything, but having him around to grab a burp cloth or hold Oliver for a second while I shower has been lovely. Well, today Adam went back to work and all I can think is "What now? What happens now when I need to shower, or eat a bowl of cereal, or pee? Wednesday, December 15, 2010. This Chirstmas will be . . . a very special Christmas for me! Then this past week we did the same with Adam's dad Andy and his wife Lisa. We'll be headed out of town and wanted to exchange gifts early with them as well. Thursday, January 13, 2011. Instead of telling all the details, I'll show you! Chillin' with Uncle Ev. I'm sitting up in the bath! On a side note unrelated to the holidays - Oliver is now SIX MONTHS OLD! So incredibly hard to believe. He weighs 18 pounds, is 28.5 inches long (really tall for his age) and we started eating solids! He's fond of pears but could do without peas. He actually loves food! His fingers and arms are so long in that first picture. :) i love his smile while hes in the box.

Monday, March 7, 2011. Oliver has officially crossed the threshold into the first steps of "growing up". He has . . . His first little chompers have come in on the bottom! I love seeing them when he flashes a smile, but part of me is sad to see that gummy grin gone forever . . . that is of course until he's old and decrepit and toothless once again. Monday, November 29, 2010. Gotta love those Christmas lights! Since Adam and I live so close to Michigan Ave (aka The Magnificent Mile - you can liken this street to Park or 5th Ave in NYC - lots and lots of shopping) we thought it would be fun to walk over there for the Magnificent Mile Lights Festival Parade! Oliver and Adam all bundled up. And one more thing . . . this is my new best friend. Oliver loves to sit in his Exersaucer (by himself! And play with all the jungle animals :). What a handsome boy!

Thursday, February 18, 2010. Our suspicions were confirmed. Adam and I went in for the 20 week ultrasound a few weeks ago and found out we're having a baby boy! We'd had a feeling all along it was a boy, and I could tell immediately :) Adam won't let me post the "money shot" (something about not wanting the internet to have access to our baby's first naked picture) but we got a cute profile pick. I can already tell he has my nose! Any advice from experienced moms would be welcomed. Hopsons (Nick and Chio).

Thursday, September 23, 2010. The dust is settling . . . Student. So to all those bugging me about not seeing pictures of Oliver, chill. Even this post will only have one picture, I'm afraid, because amid all the other life changes we are switching over to a MAC and have not transfered all our pictures/files from the old laptop. So here's the breakdown:. 2 New Baby - Oliver. What an angel baby! This is the only picture we have of Oliver on this computer. Happy Birthday everyone! Don't be a stranger :).
