The Land Down Under. I'm studying in Australia this summer. Here's low down on what I'm up to. Friday, June 17, 2011. Yesterday we went to the Mindil Beach Market around 5pm. The market is about 100 yards long. They sell all different types of food like kangaroo and crocodile jerky. There are also a bunch of crafts and performers. This is the beach right next to the market. Most of the people go to the market around dinner time to get food and watch the sunset. Made this up at. June 17, 2011 at 5:41 PM.

The first thing we did when we landed at the Alice Springs airport was vist the Centre of Appropriate Technology. They work on providing solar power systems to the aboriginal communities. The Land Down Under. I'm studying in Australia this summer. Here's low down on what I'm up to. Tuesday, June 21, 2011. I just got back from 3 day camping trip in Kakadu National Park. I saw some crocs, some wallaby and a razorback. I ate some ants that tasted like limes and swam with a baby monitor. The entrance to the park. We took a boat cruise down one of the rivers in the park, I don't remember which one it was, but this is what we saw. The crocodiles were a lot bigger than I expected them to be.

I was half asleep and freezing cold, but still managed to pull it together and take a picture. Was it worth it? Ya I'd say so. This was another hike where we walked through what is called "The Valley of Winds". We were surrounded by huge rocks on each side, but it really wasn't too windy. Made this up at.
