Wednesday, October 16, 2013. NIRVANA FLUTED BAT TAIL. Found on a council pick up. Its amazing what people throw out! In house custom sprays. Back in those days. This board must have been stored inside. The spray job looks as good as the day it was done. The tail had been squared off at some stage. Fortunately the bat tail was left in tact. Tuesday, January 06, 2015. MC COY 'DAPPA' TWIN FIN. This is a 1970/71 McCoy twin fin. Http:/ www.surfresearch.com.au/00000318.html. It has DAPPA Grant 'Dappa' Oliver. In pencil on foam. At the pod on the deck. This board was in very poor condition. Depressions, dings and water stains all over. All the depressions on the bottom were filled. The board was sanded and a layer of 4oz cloth. Top and bottom was added. The fins were in bad shape. Both were removed and repaired. The one on the right had delamed.

Monday, August 25, 2014. TWO BENNETTS ONE OWNER. These two have been in. For ding repairs only. And to have leg rope loops. Glassed onto their tails. But are worth adding. Both are heading to the. Old Mal titles at Crescent Head in. A couple of weeks and want to avoid the rocks. Note the concave on the left hand board. 9'9 1/4" x 22 1/4" x 2 7/8". 9'5 3/4" x 24" x 3 1/8". Wide points at mid point. And 4'1 7/8" from pod. The concave nosed board at top is pretty flat. Both boards have rolled bottoms.

Thursday, October 02, 2014. Found on a council rubbish pickup. The over all condition of this board. 7'8"x 21 1/2" x 3 1/2". Thickest point is 17 1/4" behind wide point. 11 1/2" Safe Set. Greenough stage 3 fin. 12 1/2" from pod. Finished top and bottom. I have a old Shane mal that has been neglected under my dads house for years, would love to have the old girl restored! Sunday, April 13, 2014. BARRY BENNETT V- BOTTOM 4042. This board is a. Barry Bennett stringered V-bottom. As you can see from the images. It was in pretty poor condition. Nice and bright under the original pigment. Detail of the dodgy repair work on the nose. The original fin was removed. The area under the fin was repaired. The fin was repaired and reset. This board was destined for a pigment job from the start. The number 4042 was penciled into the blank. And some of the volan lams. Number two of three.
