Wiccan Woman: December 2008
http://eliennethewiccan.blogspot.com/2008_12_01_archive.html
Thursday, December 11, 2008. My life, as I prepare for Yule. My husband and I are moving this weekend, so I haven't blogged here in a few days. I apologize. Life is just a bit crazy. We're planning to be out of our apartment by the end of the day on Sunday, so we have a . 160;to do between now and then. And I'll be doing a lot of meditation to help keep me grounded and at peace, and to not let the hectic-ness and anxiety of everything get to me. Posted a few days ago. 160;clear on my intent. ...

Wiccan Woman: Meme
http://eliennethewiccan.blogspot.com/2008/12/meme.html
Friday, December 5, 2008. I've been tagged by Granamyr. Over at The Pagan Page. Link to the person who tagged you. Post the rules on your blog. Write six random things about yourself. Tag six people at the end of your post and link to them. Let each person know they've been tagged by leaving a comment on his or her blog. Let the tagger know when your entry is up. I had chicken pox twice when I was a child, and I don't remember either time. I would eat corned beef and cabbage every day if I could.

The Bog & Owl Journal: Holy, holy, holy.
http://bogandowl.blogspot.com/2009/02/holy-holy-holy.html
The Bog and Owl Journal. Monday, 23 February 2009. Holy, holy, holy. So neo-Paganism, in all its many forms, is a radically different religious experience, unique perhaps in the whole history of religious expressions. We're not encouraged by parents, society or tradition (quite the opposite in many cases, I suspect) - we're doing something new here, albeit something new inspired by something very old. Also, seeing as how we're not that visible in the 'established' religious landscape, as it were, I think...

The Bog & Owl Journal: Meet Matthew Hopkins, Witch-finder General
http://bogandowl.blogspot.com/2009/02/meet-matthew-hopkins-witch-finder.html
The Bog and Owl Journal. Tuesday, 17 February 2009. Meet Matthew Hopkins, Witch-finder General. It is clearly time to look at the facts of the so-called 'Burning Times' - this has of course been done better and far more throughly elsewhere, but I'd like this to be the first in a short series of posts on the subject from my own neo-Pagan perspective. Hopkins was active between 1644-1647. In his book,. The Discovery of Witches'. There is something deeply cynical about this approach - did Hopkins, clearly s...

The Bog & Owl Journal: Paganism - His and Hers
http://bogandowl.blogspot.com/2009/06/paganism-his-and-hers.html
The Bog and Owl Journal. Tuesday, 30 June 2009. Paganism - His and Hers. I think I've outdone myself in laziness by not posting anything for months. I'm a fitful sort of blogger. Something occurred to me the other day, though. I was sitting around with my boyfriend and some good buddies of ours, and for some reason, talk centered around domestic matters. Who does the laundry in your house? Who sweeps the floors and trims the hedges? What does that mean in a Pagan perspective? There are a number of other ...
