dragonflycorner: A Walk on the Wild Side!
http://dragonflycorner.blogspot.com/2010/04/walk-on-wild-side.html
This is a journal of my life as it pertains to family, friends, gardening, and life in general. Monday, April 19, 2010. A Walk on the Wild Side! Papa was busy helping his brother plant corn. That left us free to have an adventure. After a nice lunch out, we decided to take a walk in the woods just south of our town. These woods, about 20 acres, are owned by The University of Illinois and are left completely natural except for a few semi cleared paths. The ones in more sun were lighter in color. And other...

This is a journal of my life as it pertains to family, friends, gardening, and life in general. Tuesday, May 4, 2010. Walk on the Wildside 2. This past weekend was granddaughter time again. The house comes alive with laughter, noise, laundry and cooking! The adventure-a walk in the same woods of 2 weeks ago, we saved for Sunday afternoon. It was a little wet and the plants and briers had all grown some, but that didn't stop us! Is unknown, but has very tiny delicate blooms. I have a gazillion of them!

http://flydragon-alittleofthisalittleofthat.blogspot.com/2009/12/thank-you.html
A Little of this, a little of that. Sunday, December 20, 2009. I just wanted to let you all know that we told Mom about your comments here and at my blog, and she did receive and read your cards. (Have you all seen Jen's cards at http:/ www.muddybootdreams.com/ - wow! While Mom would not allow for services to be held for her, I don't believe she would mind at all that her blog become a memorial of sorts to her wit, wisdom, and mad skills. Far Side of Fifty. A Little of this, a little of that. Tuesday, August 18, 2009. Still Hanging In There. A few surprises hanging in here in the middle of August. The first is this Verbena. Usually by this time of year all my Verbenas are in the trash heap. Loaded with powdery mildew and totally wilted. But. looking good. How about this Lantana. Still full and healthy. How about these window boxes. Still going like gangbusters. And last. how about the view from my favorite sitting place. Oh, and one more thing.

A Little of this, a little of that. Wednesday, December 31, 2008. In Like A Lion, Out Like A Lamb". I know that little saying is usually used for the month of March, but I figured it should be good for other times as well. So this time I’m applying it for the whole year of 2008. So what the heck happened? Where’s the mild temperatures, the sun, the peaceful end to the old year? I’ll tell you what happened! And so ends 2008. In like a lion, out like a lion. Maybe we should change that original saying just...

A Little of this, a little of that. Saturday, January 31, 2009. No not that spring, and from the looks of it that won’t be happening for quite some time yet. Yes that’s my super duper snow gauge aka yardstick stuck in there. There was a time when stores appreciated your business and would give away handy dandy freebies like that. Those days are long gone, at least around here. And that ancient snow gauge shows that there is 18” of snow in my backyard. Arrrgh! Monday, January 26, 2009. Older, a lot? And i...

http://flydragon-alittleofthisalittleofthat.blogspot.com/2009_04_01_archive.html
A Little of this, a little of that. Sunday, April 26, 2009. So my sister Betty calls me Saturday morning. It went something like this. Betty Boop…"Hey, whatcha doing? Me…. "Nothing much, how about you? Baiting Boop…."I’m just calling to see if you put your hummingbird feeder up yet? Drat, I know exactly where this is going). Me… "No not yet, why? Feigning ignorance while swearing a blue streak under my breath). While we’re on the subject of show-offs and braggarts, here’s another one. No, not this one.

About the Artist
All my paintings have the Southwestern art appeal of animals coupled with the sea, mountains, and deserts using vibrant colors which are done in Airbrush using Acrylics, Pastels and Inks. My switch plates are of the same technique and style. I take pride in all my work whether it's a new picture created through my own perspective or from a selected picture that's given to me to transform to airbrush art whether on paper or on a switch plate. I've continued on to this day.
