And I'm excited to see everyone for the early April Birthday party on Saturday! Friday, February 20, 2009. Week 5: Radiation Vacation. Just five more treatments, and I'm home free.

Steamboat Springs Adventures: Red Rocks and RMNP
http://sboatspringsadventures.blogspot.com/2009/06/red-rocks-and-rmnp.html
My Favorite View in Steamboat: Sleeping Giant :). Tuesday, June 16, 2009. Red Rocks and RMNP. Nate came to visit for 6 days! We had several adventures; the first being me driving down to Denver to get him. I swear he is cursed when it comes to airports. Because of runway construction in Denver, his flight was delayed an hour, causing him to miss the connection to Steamboat. *Smacks hand on forehead*. We drove back through Estes Park, Rocky Mountain National Park, and Grand Lake. RMNP is so beautiful!

Nate's going to do some more decorating yet, but we had a little fun! Nate and I spent our first Thanksgiving together :) Albeit we didn't eat until 10:30 pm because Nate had to work a second shift. oh the life of a cop! But it was still delicious. It was my first time making Turkey Dinner, and I felt the need to document some of the delicious steps :). Which for...

I actually couldn't believe my eyes when I woke up the last time; it was 10:50. And I could've slept more. And in 6 days. I'm going to be sitting on the beach, sipping something with Cruzan Rum in it. Wednesday, April 22, 2009. Well, my steroid dosage is down! It is literally steps to the beach from Charthouse. Well, that is all I know for now. I just ...

http://sboatspringsadventures.blogspot.com/2009_03_01_archive.html
My Favorite View in Steamboat: Sleeping Giant :). Saturday, March 28, 2009. Slowly, But Maybe Surely. I seem to be gettting better. Between the antibiotics and z-pack, something seems to be working. Having a little trouble with exhaustion, but I'm working on it. It's kind of hard being alone again. I got really used to being around my family and Nate. Luckily, Nate will be here on the 8th for a couple days. Not much else new, almost my birthday. Tuesday, March 24, 2009. After a bunch of days of 60 degree...

http://sboatspringsadventures.blogspot.com/2009/05/3-years-ago.html
My Favorite View in Steamboat: Sleeping Giant :). Saturday, May 23, 2009. Three years ago, on the Saturday of Memorial Day Weekend, it was just like any other Saturday in college, except that I had to work. After work, I was in the Eau Claire Target and my mom called. Worst phone call of my life. I was too far away to make it to the hospital in time. Grandma, I love you and I miss you. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Fall by the Yampa. Saturday, September 13, 2008. Last weekend my friend/co-worker Lisa and I hiked the Spring Creek Trail. What a beautiful fall day in the 'Boat! Spring Creek at the start of the trail. Steamboat Springs Adventures: Good News!
http://sboatspringsadventures.blogspot.com/2009/07/good-news.html
My Favorite View in Steamboat: Sleeping Giant :). Tuesday, July 7, 2009. I got the results of my latest MRI, and they're fantastic! The scan looks significantly better than my last one. The tumor is picking up less of the dye they inject in me. The part of the tumor that was picking up the dye was the part that was more worrisome, so this is very good! The tumor also has some water in it, which is consistent with tumor necrosis (meaning it's dying! All very good news :). Labels: My Little Friend.
