Thursday, July 27, 2006. Where have all the anglers gone? Well, not much to report at the moment. The weather's been very hot for the last few days so very few people have been in fishing. Mind you one angler caught 8 nice rainbows yesterday and another caught 4 today. Of course it's the first week of the school holiday so I suppose most people are taking advantage of the good weather and have headed for the beach. Hopefully we will be busy over the weekend. Thursday, July 27, 2006. Are you like me? Do you live somewhere and very rarely spend time out at places of interest near to home? I've lived in Wales for about 7 years and never spent time walking the mountains. Isn't that crazy? I am only a few miles from the border of the beautiful Snowdonia national park so yesterday I changed all that. I went for a walk! Is a 2 acre spring and river fed fly fishing lake set in beautiful Snowdonia with depths of up to 17 feet. It is regularly stocked with big Rainbows, Browns, Blues and Tigers between 2 and 20lb and is ideal for beginners and experienced alike. On the A5 about 1 mile from Cerrig-y-drudion and around 10 miles between Betsw-y-Coed, Corwen and Bala. We offer Rod Hire and Tuition. Our purpose built Cafe.
