Participants in the Bris Milah Ceremony. This honor is usually given to a couple. The woman carries the baby to the room where the bris will take place. She then hands the baby to the man, (usually at the door of the room) and the man carries the baby up to the Mohel. The baby is then lifted from the kisei and given to the father who will soon place the baby on the lap of the Sandak where the actual circumcision will take place. This honoree holds the newly circumcised baby while the blessings are recited.
