Chloe and Macie starting kindergarten. Sweet Chloe was born August 20, 2014 at 5:59 am. She weighed 6 lbs 6oz and 18 1/2 inches long. The girls can't get enough of her. 1st day of Kindergarten! Off to catch the bus. The bus is here! Brynlee didn't want Macie to go to school :(. And home again after a long day! She had a blast! And Brynlee was ecstatic when she came home! Melissa came to visit! The girls were in heaven having Melissa for a whole week! Spent some time in Pittsburgh. Thank you Grandma V for sending some cute crocheted hats and purses! Melissa brought the girls some cute books. And the book Hand Hand Fingers Thumb was Brynlee's favorite. They probably read it 20 times a day. Really cute book! We made lots of hairbows for Melissa's new little one coming in November! Trevor and I are in the front of the roller coaster. It was so fun! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

It's been awhile since I posted. Here's a little catch up and what we're up to lately. We went to the Cherry Blossom Festival in Washington DC. It was beautiful! There are around 3,800 cherry blossom trees. The blossoms only last about a week so there are tons of tourist but it was worth it! Such a fun trip. We rode our bikes to see the trees and monuments. Brynlee fell and scraped her knee and she only wanted Macie to hold her. Sweet sisters. Brynlee didn't quite make it to see the White House :). Blogg...

Grandma and Grandpa came to visit! So excited to have grandparents here to visit! We went to a Pirates baseball game. Fun and beautiful view of the city! The Steelers have their annual football camp at Trevor's school. Macie got her shirt signed by Ben Roethlisberger. Macie's favorite part of the vacation. We walked down a popular area in Pittsburg called the Strip District. The street is kind of like a huge farmer's market that is open all week. Fun things to see! We had tons of fun at the fair! Wall St in the big city! The 9/11 Memorial was really neat to see. Being across the country and only hearing about it when it happened makes it hard to feel how real it was. I can't imagine how insane and sad and scary it was. The Subway. A little confusing. We definitely got lost a time or two! Brynlee didn't like how loud it was. Not quite sure what the guy behind us is doing :) we saw lots of crazy stuff: cross dressers, people sleeping in the middle of the sidewalk, etc. Brooklyn Bridge behind us.
