Monday, June 6, 2011. This evening, due to a variety of interesting circumstances, I got to have one-on-one dinner with my daughter. Frankly, it was a real treat. Saturday, January 8, 2011. A few minutes ago, I walked into David’s room. As I did, I heard his tiny voice: “Hi, Daddy.”. 8220;Hey, David,” I replied. 8220;What’s up? 8221; he asked. I couldn’t believe it. So simple. So like me. He’s definitely my son. 8220;I just wanted to make sure you were okay,” I told him. He smiled so big.
