Sunday, May 12, 2013. Traveled a Desert Landscape on. Breezy white clouds of the sky gives this painting a portrayal. Of motion. You can feel the air movement as you travel along with the rider and his horse contemplating the place they are journeying to. Blue skies give way to thoughts of crisp clean air they will no doubt experience during their journey. More to come as "Long Journey" is completed. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Lloyd W Thibodeau - Artist: Yellow Lily Sunshine
http://lloydwthibodeau.blogspot.com/2011/11/yellow-lily-sunshine.html
Tuesday, November 1, 2011. Yellow Lily Sunshine floral oil painting was created from a photograph taken of a lily growing in my backyard. Yellow conveys a warm feeling and this particular painting reminds me of my boyhood days. I'd lay in the farmers field on sunny days while watching the clouds row by. I'd try to picture in my mind the many animal images they would make as they danced across the sky. Http:/ www.lloydthibodeau.com/. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Paintings by Lloyd Thibodeau.

Monday, October 3, 2011. To The Gallery We Go! Well in the past few days I've setup four new oil paintings. Three of them will be rose floral paintings and one is going to be a red buoy floating in the bay water. On the seascape painting with the buoy will be a portion of land extending out to the ocean with a lighthouse resting at the furthest point of land. I went to visit LC Art Gallery. Is located at 123b S.Main Street, Greenville, SC 29601. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). To The Gallery We Go!

http://lloydwthibodeau.blogspot.com/2012/12/thumb-nail-sketching-while-watching-art.html
Monday, December 24, 2012. Today while watching an art show on PBS I realized a useful tool I'd been neglecting for my painting compositions. A simply little tool it is but none the less one that would keep my artworks on the right track. Before beginning the painting the artist had completed a thumbnail sketch. Sometimes I would hit a road block during the middle of a painting. I'd b e. Half way brushing on the paint colors and then the question po ps to. My mind and asks, "Ok,. Oh, I hate that!

Wednesday, January 25, 2012. Got to Keep it Straight. As each days activities is so busy it seems necessary to invoke a simple little tool to keep one aware of the must do things so that they just don't slip away. A little reminder at the proper time is good to keep things in order and on tract so as not to force a comment like, "Man, that was suppose to be done a while ago and now I'm in deep water! Second thought is how should each one be used in communicating which types of messages?

Lloyd W Thibodeau - Artist: Cougar Oil Painting Composition
http://lloydwthibodeau.blogspot.com/2012/03/cougar-oil-painting-composition.html
Thursday, March 22, 2012. Cougar Oil Painting Composition. I really enjoy viewing wonderful artworks from countless wildlife artists. May it be watercolor, acrylics, pencils, oils and there's one more, pastels. All in their own way bring a smile and enjoyment with what they have accomplished and share that will last a very very long time. It gives motivation for drawing and painting some of my own wildlife paintings. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Paintings by Lloyd Thibodeau.

Wednesday, October 5, 2011. Bay Water Buoy Oil Painting. Prepared the composition for my Buoy oil painting today. A litte bit ago I had dug into my artist photograph reference shoe box and found a picture I had taken while on a vacation boat ride of a buoy. I thought that this would make for an interesting peice of artwork. To the right is the photograph artist reference image I'll be using. I'll also post the progression on this oil painting on Draw-N-Paint. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
