Draw The Line At: September 2013

http://drawthelineat.blogspot.com/2013_09_01_archive.html

September 19, 2013. I've seen a few pins that shows paper bags turned into pumpkins. I was really interested in trying something like that out with my Kindergartners. But I had a lot of trouble finding directions with the picture. So I did what any creative person would do. I came up with my own. We talked about sculpture and 3D art. We discussed pumpkins.their colors and shapes. I had some white lunch bags this year, so we used those. I wrote the kid's names on the inside so they didn't get painted over.

August 29, 2013. Art supply product review (part 2). Here are the competitors today. I've never used Prang Colored Pencils before. Crayola seems to be the staple for everything that is in my room or gets donated to my room. Occasionally, I'll get the really crummy kind donated. The ones that don't sharpen and barely color. So I was interest to see what the Prang Colored Pencils were like. Crayola came with 12 colored pencils. These pencils were regular size and round. Prang came with 12 colored pencils.

June 24, 2014. For a long time. The truth was I just had too many things on my plate. Between wedding planning. Work. Moving. Buying a house. There was way too much going on the past 6 months. I had not forgotten about the blog, but my heart was elsewhere. I did get married to the best man I know. The day was dreamy. It could not have gone more perfectly. It was truly a happy day. I'm not sure what my plans are for the blog yet. I feel my heart tugging me in a different direction. My name is Jen and .
