Maandag 22 maart 2010. We hebben vrijwel alle excursies via Lapland Safaris. Laten lopen. Dat is goed bevallen maar een paar minpunten zijn:. De excursie 's avonds per sneeuwscooter naar het noorderlicht is een beetje onzin. Ik had verwacht dat we naar een "berg" zouden rijden om vanaf een hoog punt te kijken naar het noorderlicht. We gingen echter naar exact dezelfde plaats als waar het ijsvissen wordt gedaan. Als je er goed over nadenkt moet je het noorderlicht vanaf ieder punt kunnen bekijken. Maar oh...

Rondreis Yucatan, Mexico. Maandag 17 augustus 2015. Dag 20: Met de golfkar het eiland verkennen. Na een goed ontbijt zonder muggen en vliegen hebben we vandaag zelf zo'n golfkar gehuurd. We willen zelf het eiland verkennen. Bij de receptie nog even gevraagd waar we dan heen moeten en dat waren eigenlijk 2 punten. Coconut bay en mosquito point. We zijn eerst naar de kokosnoot gegaan en inderdaad heb je daar een lekker strand waar je heerlijk rustig kan dobberen in de heldere zee. Vrijdag 14 augustus 2015.

Maandag 6 juni 2016. Tijd om naar huis te gaan. Onze laatste uurtjes New York zijn in gegaan. Vanmorgen eerst maar op ons gemak de koffers ingepakt, het gaat er echt van komen, het zit er op. Om 12.30u worden we door het transfer busje opgehaald en naar het viegveld gebracht. We laten de spullen op de kamer staan aangezien we er pas om 12.00u uit hoeven, voor de zekerheid het bordje "do not disturb" aan de deur gehangen en voor de laatste keer op pad. Onze zomervakantie in Spanje. Zaterdag 24 juli 2010. Om 8 uur rijden we de camping af. Weer geheel volgens planning, we gaan het nog eens leren. Vandaag is het wel weer mooi weer. Beetje jammer omdat we toch gehoopt hadden op een lekker bewolkte dag, dat rijd immers een stuk makkelijker. Onderweg een half uur vertraging door file's maar een goede reis gehad. Na een rit van 1400 km waren we weer thuis rond 1 uur. Vrijdag 23 juli 2010. Helaas, helaas, vandaag is het flink bewolkt. Donderdag 22 juli 2010.

Rondreis Sri Lanka zomer 2016. Dinsdag 26 juli 2016. Dag van de wilde dieren en uitzichten. Vanmorgen ging de wekker om 04.30u en we hadden allemaal best wel moeite om ons bed uit te komen.
