I had some hope of competing in the masters category, since after all I am 31 and according to page 5 of the UCI rulebook. What I liked so much about the event was the interaction with the bystanders. That sweet sound of cowbell made the day. Ernie was also rooting a lot for me, and that made me want to keep on pushing.
