Cycling and rowing and maybe some running and hiking, but probably mostly a lot of cycling and some rowing. IPhone 3G chaos looming? That doesn't really bode very well for what might happen on Friday when more than one person at the time will try to buy an iPhone and get their credit check through! 160;AT&T - I predict that you'll have some explaining to do on Saturday morning. Who is this guy? Long-distance bicycle durability testing. The Wipeout (a late update for my non-FB friends). Jul 19th, 2011 at 8:38 PM. Just wait for it. It really does happen, and it will make you cringe. Singlespeed P-12, #1. Jun 19th, 2011 at 2:45 PM. Well, after a long hiatus I'm back on the short-course rando circuit and attempting a P-12 series on my singlespeed. Yesterday I completed the Snoqualmie River Run for my first ride back to the series, and my longest ride of the year. Drive safe, or else.

Who is this guy? Long-distance bicycle durability testing. Jun 7th, 2010 at 9:42 PM. I'm not a mountain biker. I own an old mountain bike that I turned into a grocery commuter, with a big Wald basket on the front. but I still enjoy riding on gravel and hardpack dirt trails. Time to get moving. Cycloblogger: Buck Hill Cyclocross
http://www.cycloblogger.info/2009/09/buck-hill-cyclocross.html
This is our world on two wheels. Sunday, September 27, 2009. Ben Kraft and I carpooled to Mecklenburg, arriving at about 9am. I had some hope of competing in the masters category, since after all I am 31 and according to page 5 of the UCI rulebook. What I liked so much about the event was the interaction with the bystanders. That sweet sound of cowbell made the day. Ernie was also rooting a lot for me, and that made me want to keep on pushing. Cycloblogger: Tour de Shunk 2009
http://www.cycloblogger.info/2009/09/tour-de-shunk-2009.html
This is our world on two wheels. Tuesday, September 22, 2009. Tour de Shunk 2009. Last year the Tour de Shunk was scheduled the day after the STAP Ride for Life. But a good challenge for most people. Steve, Ben, Olivia and I decided to leave before the official start scheduled for 9am. The first 13 miles or so, with a total of 19 rollers (I am told), were familiar to me from the PA "Endless Mountains" 1000K. The next 25 miles were a blur. We were moving swiftly on a downhill section followed by a fla...

This is our world on two wheels. Sunday, September 13, 2009. FLCC Halsey Valley-Waverly-Spencer Ride. After my plan to take part in the epic Highlander on Saturday went down the drain because of the relatively high fee and iffy weather, I was looking forward to the FLCC ride. This was my first time on the Halsey Valley-Waverly-Spencer ride, which only had 5 cues, all right turns. Hard to make a mistake, right? Upon leaving the diner we resumed our ride on SR 34 heading north. Within the first mile a ...

http://www.cycloblogger.info/2009/06/pa-acp-1000k.html
This is our world on two wheels. Monday, June 29, 2009. An afternoon meeting was canceled, which allowed me to arrive early in Quakertown. For the first time I actually was in bed and almost asleep at 10pm for a 4am start. I was very happy to feel the cool air as I entered the hostel bedroom. There was air conditioning! A real treat on a warm night. Initially I rode up to the front to see that Patrick was leading. Where was Rick? I thought I was the last to leave the hostel. Apparently Rick had some ...
