Three Books and a Movie. Book 56: Shadowmancer by G. P. Taylor (2003). December 4, 2007 — threebooksandamovie. Don’t let them read anything. I guess those British people must have an advantage when it comes to fantasy writing. The U.S. just makes a terrible setting for a fantasy story. Must be why I’m rarely impressed with a fantasy book written by an American writer (e.g., Rick Riordan). One Response to “Book 56: Shadowmancer by G. P. Taylor (2003)”. January 14, 2009 at 4:30 pm. Three Books and a Movie. Book 57: The Face by Daniel McNeill. December 11, 2007 — threebooksandamovie. I picked up this book because I wanted to learn everything about face I hadn’t picked up myself in the many, many years I’ve seen faces. As it turns out, it covers a lot more than just faces. There’s history, psychology, and even philosophy, and I couldn’t stop reading this book once I started. I’ll definitely pick up some more books by the same author. Leave a Reply Cancel reply.
