The Coolest Trends In The World. A Man Runs Around With His Car and No Gas. BOISE - After a week in which oil prices soared to another record high, millions of Americans will be hitting the road for the Memorial Day weekend and paying more than ever before to get to their destination. According to AAA, the average price of gas hit $3.79 Sunday. One Boise man is so fed up with depending on gas, he created a new way to get around. It doesn't affect him because he doesn't use gas to power his Geo Metro.

Bella's Arcade: FINISHED!!!!!
http://bellasarcade.blogspot.com/2009/02/finished.html
It's a PINK Homemade Arcade Machine! Wednesday, February 18, 2009. Well, it's been a very long time coming but over the weekend I managed to put Bella's Arcade in her room in the exact spot I originally envisioned it when I started. I had my dad's help lifting it up the stairs and I think I destroyed my back but it was worth it. My daughter LOVES it and she is so excited to have an arcade machine of her own in her room - her reaction was thanks enough. A HUGE thanks to everyone over at BYOAC. Your blog h...

Bella's Arcade: February 2008
http://bellasarcade.blogspot.com/2008_02_01_archive.html
It's a PINK Homemade Arcade Machine! Friday, February 08, 2008. The Coin Door (Lights). How could I forget about the coin door lights? No arcade machine is truly complete without lighting up the coin door return buttons. Shortly after getting the cabinet in a playable state, I got a message from theCoder over at BYOAC. He had put together two LEDs controlled by a circuit board and ran it all to a regular power plug. A few days later it arrived in the mail! Posted by Some guy on the Internet. I'm forcing ...

Bella's Arcade: July 2007
http://bellasarcade.blogspot.com/2007_07_01_archive.html
It's a PINK Homemade Arcade Machine! Tuesday, July 31, 2007. Time To Finish This Thing! OK I haven't made any progress recently but I think I'm ready to. We have settled into a pretty good schedule with the new baby and I am generally less tired every day. I'm hoping to resume work on Bella's Arcade this weekend. I might as well since we are cooped up in the house for the next few weeks until it is safe to take the baby out in public. Posted by Some guy on the Internet. Monday, July 16, 2007. Monday, Jul...

Bella's Arcade: November 2007
http://bellasarcade.blogspot.com/2007_11_01_archive.html
It's a PINK Homemade Arcade Machine! Tuesday, November 13, 2007. Well, I haven't actually done anything on the cabinet but I have made a FINAL list of things that I need to do. I'm posting them here so I don't forget. Install the coin box. This should take 10 minutes. Apply the vinyl button decals. I had some pink vinyl button decals made to apply to the black admin buttons. They are really cool - the Start buttons are little girl icons. This shouldn't take too long. Make a pink dustwasher for the joysti...

Bella's Arcade: June 2007
http://bellasarcade.blogspot.com/2007_06_01_archive.html
It's a PINK Homemade Arcade Machine! Thursday, June 28, 2007. Anyway, I ended up just tracing the monitor glass that I already had to size the matte board properly and then with the monitor in place I just measured in from the sides of the cab to the edge of the screen and cut everything out with a sharp razor and a straight edge. It's a good idea to cut it a little oversize and then trim it back to get a tight fit. Next up - installing all of the programs and getting it to actually work! There's nothing...
