Saturday, June 27, 2015. Summer time is here! The first project was to pour concrete to expand the back patio as well as widen out part of the driveway. This is the back patio before the concrete - atrocious! We ordered gravel, which was a huge hit for the kids of course. Edmund and Aidah were especially pleased and spent quite a long time playing in the rocks. The driveway was coated with gravel as well and looks so much better! Concrete pouring day was super exciting! Of course, always daddy's helper!

Friday, October 17, 2014. A Long South Dakota Day. Which is really an amazing place. It is the location of over 100 missiles the US government hid in the Great Plains during the Cold War. Tuesday, August 26, 2014. Lake Superior and 12 Years. Nick and I celebrated our 12 year anniversary by the shore of Lake Superior, admiring it's beauty and playing with our family. We truly live a blessed life! Miner's Castle, one of the most known sites of the famous Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore. We wish we lived closer! On the way to the Lake, Aunt Toni had to stop by and show the girls the giant bird nest. They had fun tweeting like little birds! We made it to a dozen years! On the way to Michigan.
