Surf and Turf for family lunch. Sometimes all you need is a delicious homecooked meal to make you feel all better. Tea at the Writer's Bar. I've always been fascinated with afternoon tea. Be it legit afternoon tea or just merienda. Haha! While pregnant, I visited the Writer's Bar with my favourite girl friends on two different occasions. The spread was different each time, but I particularly loved the cranberry scones, strawberry jam, and clotted cream, the salmon sandwiches, lemon tarts. I'm a big fan of Hole in the Wall at the Century Mall. For a long time, I only ordered the Chicken and Waffles at Bad Bird. My new default order is the burger at The Beef. It's ridiculously simple and good. I wish I could order a side of jalapeños, some blue cheese, some mushrooms, more lettuce and tomatoes- but NO. They don't offer those option.
