Once upon a time...: February 2010
http://seagullyenyen.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html
Once upon a time. Saturday, February 20, 2010. Just had dinner with extended family and we had yusheng! I finally finished my tigers a few days before CNY. Got male and female! However, they are not attracting as much attention as the basket I made. Most visitors love my basket. It is now filled with individually wrapped bak kwa and nougats from Taiwan! Links to this post. Alex's birthday fell on a Saturday. Just nice for us to celebrate his birthday for him. We had dinner at Swensens! Links to this post.

Once upon a time...: May 2009

Once upon a time. Sunday, May 31, 2009. I always have Monday Blues. Perhaps it's becos I do not keep my regular sleeping hours on weekends. When Monday comes, especially before lunch, I am so lethargic that my eyes are lifeless, and my eyelids can't open, worse if I wear my spectacles. So, I try my best not to see my boss when the week starts. Wai and Mel with their evil twin grin. Me trying to be funny in the background. Did that make your day? Finally had the chance to go there. The place is really...

Once upon a time...: Cake cutting at CFA Auditorium
http://seagullyenyen.blogspot.com/2010/05/cake-cutting-at-cfa-auditorium.html
Once upon a time. Saturday, May 22, 2010. Cake cutting at CFA Auditorium. We had a different sort of birthday celebration 2 Saturdays ago. LS and I had to attend a concert, whereas I gave ZJ a pair of tickets to watch Andrea Bocelli "live" at the Botanic Gardens. We couldn't have the usual dinner-then-cake affair, hence I came up with this idea. Alex brought in the cake whilst everyone was rehearsing. Initially, wanted to get some pretty girl to walk in with the cake, but we had to make do.

Once upon a time. Tuesday, June 29, 2010. My 2nd trip to Japan. Spent quite a relaxing time there sight seeing, shopping, eating.Feet ached like mad when I returned. Too lazy to upload photos. They can be found on my Facebook. 1 At least 2 bedrooms. 2 Either in the East or East Central. 3 Near the sea. 4 Convenient to me. 5 Easy to rent out. Last but not least, the PRICE. I remember prices were almost a third of what they are now when I first started working. Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Once upon a time. Sunday, August 23, 2009. Time is running out! Today must be my most hardworking day. Practised for like 1.5 hours each in the afternoon and night. Have been chasing my parents to their room at 10pm so that I can practise in peace. Yesterday wanted to practise too, but fell asleep at 9.30pm while playing Restaurant City on facebook. Wonder where I will go next.Bird park? Links to this post. Saturday, August 15, 2009. Was supposed to wake up early to jog, but ended up waking at 8am (which...

Once upon a time...: January 2010
http://seagullyenyen.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html
Once upon a time. Saturday, January 30, 2010. Day Three 13/12/09 - Hualian. Our train was pre-booked. We decided to take the 8.30am 自强train as it was the shortest - 2 hour 30 mins or so to 花莲. Prior to our trip, I had already made a call to the 民宿to inform them our arrival time - 11.00 am. The owner, 陈先生informed me that he would pick us up at 火车站的前站. When we reached the Minsu, 洄澜湾. Our lunch - lunch box seen here, with soup and "Yakult" - all for only NT65! Our programme for the day was 太鲁阁. Alex's favou...

Once upon a time. Saturday, May 22, 2010. Recently, I have started taking piano lessons again. I remember when I was taking guitar lessons with Teck Seng, he'd bring up: Why don't you learn the piano properly and take your diploma exams instead? Especially since he thought it was pointless for me to go around collecting ABRSM Grade 8 certificates for different instruments. At least 8 hours a day? Actually, Grade 8 isn't a big deal. Yes, LS and Alex agree, they have seen me on the harp. By then, I was bus...

Once upon a time...: July 2009
http://seagullyenyen.blogspot.com/2009_07_01_archive.html
Once upon a time. Monday, July 27, 2009. The stuff that I bought are lying all over the floor now. I had ice cream twice yesterday and cheesecake for supper, after my 2-hour foot and thai massage last night. Shopping at Pratunam market and Platinum is the best! I didn't finish Platinum! Not enough time and $ $! At Changi Airport, I decided to get some cosmetics and perfumes as they are about 20% cheaper than outside. To Leng: I don't use SKII, I use La Mer! Links to this post.
