Donna Sloma's Craftwords: Creating for the Sheer Joy of it!
http://donnasloma.blogspot.com/2012/01/creating-for-sheer-joy-of-it.html
Saturday, January 21, 2012. Creating for the Sheer Joy of it! As an crafter/artist, I sometimes find myself in a production mode for shows and festivals. And I do enjoy what I produce. There would be little to choose from on my vendor table if I didn't have a healthy inventory. But lately I've been working on some projects that aren't meant for selling! Other times I create some new piece that will never be repeated haha! January 21, 2012 at 9:43 AM. I know that feeling! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Kindred's Place
http://kindredsplace.blogspot.com/2009/01/ice-frozen-inside-like-ice-outside-dont.html
Things I like to write, pictures I like to take. Sunday, January 18, 2009. Frozen inside like the ice outside. Dont know how to let it thaw. Thawing means letting go, letting new life in. But fear keeps the ice in place. The ice is empty, cold, alone. Wrapped in a cocoon of it, keepin the pain out. How do I let it melt. How do I let life in. How do I do all that and not lose what I have left? Good grief where was that picture taken? January 18, 2009 at 10:26 PM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Donna Sloma's Craftwords: January 2011
http://donnasloma.blogspot.com/2011_01_01_archive.html
Sunday, January 9, 2011. As I sit typing this, I have ideas whirling around in my head! I have a clean slate craft table in the studio. Haven't started a thing since the holidays. But a short step back from things provided me with a creative spark I desperately needed. A 'whirlwind' trip overnight with likeminded art f(r)iends to Sanford NC was just the shot in the arm I needed to get started in 2011! Thanks, Girls :). I have plans to incorporate these gorgeous threads into my Journals. Currently she is s...

The booth set up was great, the company excellent, and customers were fun and sweet! BUT unless I sat still in front of the fan, it was too HOT for almost October! I am sitting here writing this looking out the window waiting for the rain to start and the cool breezes to begin. A good sign was letting the dog out and it felt.nice! Let the Fall begin!
