Thursday, April 19, 2012. Thursday, April 19, 2012. So, I finally skipped a day of blogging yesterday. I do apologize to anyone who was looking forward to it, but here it is again. Drenda is doing exceptionally well in rehab. But, we did find out that she DOES have a fractured right leg (on top of all the torn ligaments), which is another reason she cannot bare weight on that leg. But, that has not slowed her down one bit and she is getting around like a champ. Yup, that is TWO weeks from tomorrow!

Sunday, April 29, 2012. Sunday, April 29, 2012. Another weekend has come and gone. Overall, Drenda had a great weekend. The biggest challenge right now is pain. She has been having a lot of pain in her arm and face/jaw. But, the doctors have increased her pain medicine to Percocet, so hopefully she will start getting some relief. Thursday, April 26, 2012. Thursday, April 26, 2012. Yesterday marked exactly one month since Drenda's accident; one month since Noel passed away. Time goes by so fast. We continue to lift up Noel's family in our prayers for their dear loss. And, we continue to celebrate Drenda's progress. She is absolutely amazing. It will be an adjustment, but a good one! Friday, May 4, 2012. Friday, May 04, 2012. Tonight will be short and sweet. Long story short. Drenda went back to her house in Dickson today with her daughters. She will be transferring her outpatient physical and speech therapy to the Horizon Hospital. As of now, this is where her healing process will continue to take place. PLEASE continue to lift my family up in prayers. You would think each day would get easier, but in actuality, in some ways, it only gets harder. Fundraising and Awareness for Drenda.
