pistachio en la cocina: Update!
http://pistachioenlacocina.blogspot.com/2008/08/update.html
Pistachio en la cocina. The day-to-day life of a foodie! Sunday, August 24, 2008. Thankfully I've now got us fully functional again computer-wise, as everything shuts here in August it's been frustratingly slow to order stuff and get it delivered. Also Mr P bought a new camera this week, so although I haven't had time to even think about replacing mine, at least I can "borrow" his when I need to. Now all I need to do is recapture my mojo and I'm back in business, lol. Hope your mojo returns soon! I've no...

Lili in the Kitchen: March 2009
http://lili-in-the-kitchen.blogspot.com/2009_03_01_archive.html
Lili in the Kitchen. Me chatting about food, family, friends and travel. Sunday, 29 March 2009. This weekend was a busy one. Starting with a night out with the girls on Friday to see Dave. A really good local band who do the BEST covers. We planned to eat out first, then meet other family and friends at the gig. Unfortunately we then got a call to say that the band had had to cancel as the lead singer, Paul, had pleurisy. So we enjoyed our meal out and had an early night instead! Is a favourite for lunch.

Lili in the Kitchen: August 2009
http://lili-in-the-kitchen.blogspot.com/2009_08_01_archive.html
Lili in the Kitchen. Me chatting about food, family, friends and travel. Monday, 10 August 2009. So, before i get back to talking about food, here are some shots of my other holiday (which is now also a distant but wonderful memory.). And enjoyed some wine tasting) but mainly hung out at the house, being entertained by Ben, preparing nice food and drinking good wine. The house had a few cookery books which we flicked through for inspiration, this. Tarte Noir from the Patisserie. Links to this post.

Lili in the Kitchen: My Dad Beets All the Rest
http://lili-in-the-kitchen.blogspot.com/2010/08/my-dad-beets-all-rest.html
Lili in the Kitchen. Me chatting about food, family, friends and travel. Saturday, 28 August 2010. My Dad Beets All the Rest. Firstly, sorry for being away for so long. I realised I needed to catch up on my blog when even my Dad mentioned that I hadn't updated it for a while! Work has been busy and my weekends have been taken up with a short photography course (the results may not be obvious for a while as I need to practice what I've learnt! Sarah - first born, so pretty special. Http:/ thoroughlymodern...

I had half a leg of lamb in the freezer and was a bit stumped as to what I could do with it . apart from another lamb tagine of course! I decided to make Rice and Peas to serve with this, and some chapatis to help mop up all that lovely sauce. Yum, yum, yum! Lamb Korma - Serves 4. 1 large Spanish onion, finely sliced. 3cm ginger, chopped. 1 clove garlic, chopped. 1/4 cup raw cashews.

The Modern Apron: Menus, Methods and Musings: July 2012
http://themodernapron.blogspot.com/2012_07_01_archive.html
The Modern Apron: Menus, Methods and Musings. The recipes are original. I make no such claim about the thoughts. Sunday, July 15, 2012. Luncheon Dishes: Sausage and Shallot Tart. So it should come as no surprise that when my third grader’s teacher announced that they would be having “heritage day” during the last week of school, and that each child would be responsible for bringing a dish that represented their ancestry in some way, I immediately made the jump to hypercomplication. I gave my son the choi...

The Diary of an Unaccomplished Cook: Pot Roast Chicken in Milk
http://unaccomplishedcook.blogspot.com/2015/02/pot-roast-chicken-in-milk.html
The Diary of an Unaccomplished Cook. Tuesday, 17 February 2015. Pot Roast Chicken in Milk. Ok, this is another Jamie Oliver recipe. But why not - they always work and are usually pretty simple to make. This one is no exception. From only a few ingredients and a fabulous fragrant dish is produced. 1 chicken, I had a small one but it still did 4 meals. 1 pt semi skimmed milk. 1/2 a cinnamon stick. Bunch of fresh sage leaves. Zest of 2 lemons. 8-10 cloves of garlic, leave the skin on. Welcome to my cooking ...

The Diary of an Unaccomplished Cook: November 2013
http://unaccomplishedcook.blogspot.com/2013_11_01_archive.html
The Diary of an Unaccomplished Cook. Tuesday, 5 November 2013. Now Autumn has hit with a vengeance, it is time to roll out the soups! Here is my take on the Tuscan favourite - Ribollita. It can be made with a wide range of veg and beans, whatever you have to hand, I don't think there is a hard and fast rule on this. Instead of pouring the soup over a hunk of stale bread to thicken the soup I have a couple of slices on the side with butter. My Take on Ribollita. Serves two as a main or 4 as a starter.

What's Eating Claudia?: Per stasera siamo vegetarianiindiani...
http://whats-eating-claudia.blogspot.com/2007/01/per-stasera-siamo-vegetarianiindiani.html
V...Compr...

The Diary of an Unaccomplished Cook: Crispy Pancetta Pork
http://unaccomplishedcook.blogspot.com/2015/01/crispy-pancetta-pork.html
The Diary of an Unaccomplished Cook. Friday, 23 January 2015. This is another Jamie Oliver dish from his 15 Minute Meals book, that I have changed slightly to suit what I had in and for two instead of 4, but it turned out really well and packed loads of flavour into a simple but impressive dish, a sort of take on Saltimbocca. Serves 2 Approx 12 points per serving. 250g pork tenderloin, sliced into 6 medallions. 20g goats cheese, or whatever you have, into 6 pieces. 3 strips of pancetta. At the same time ...
