Let's Make It Happen!: September 2011
http://drewandhaley.blogspot.com/2011_09_01_archive.html
Let's Make It Happen! Monday, September 19, 2011. Back To Boston Tomorrow. This week is a very special week because we find out if our baby is a BOY or GIRL! We fly back to Boston tomorrow morning for our last appointment with our doctor there. I am now 18 weeks and have a little baby bump. I have been feeling the baby kick for 2 weeks now and Drew felt it for the first time this past weekend! It's so cute feeling it at this stage because its kicks are so small :). I am a lucky girl! A New Chapter of Life.
Let's Make It Happen!: July 2011
http://drewandhaley.blogspot.com/2011_07_01_archive.html
Let's Make It Happen! Tuesday, July 26, 2011. This post is dedicated to my loving father, Steven Wayne Leavitt! He just had surgery yesterday so I want to try to make him feel better or at least smile for a minute :). Dad, you have an adventurous side that caused you to be injured, but what's life if you aren't fully living? I'm sure when it happened you were enjoying 72 degree weather in the sweet California breeze. I didn't get a text of that, but it wouldn't have been the first! You are so courageous!
Let's Make It Happen!: October 2010
http://drewandhaley.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html
Let's Make It Happen! Sunday, October 24, 2010. It's that time of the year again! It's officially cold outside and leaves and turning beautiful neon colors. This year it snuck up on me so fast.I usually anticipate this time of the year, but I was just so caught up in life that it came with surprise! Yesterday my wonderful husband took me to a Pumpkin Patch/Farm in Lexington. The drive was beautiful. I love Boston so much. It's crazy to actually realize how much history happened here. I've been wa...Drew ...

Let's Make It Happen! Thursday, October 4, 2012. Getting To Know Marsden. I feel like I could write a novel on our little boys personality. He is so full of life (Drew calls him a fireball)! He came here with an abnormally strong head/neck. He could hold it up pretty much at the hospital! Here's some pictures of him at 1 month old, that's 4 week folks! Every time someone wanted to hold him I was so nervous that he would spit up on them and most the time he did! Marsden was always so alert! Marsden starte...

Fickle, Fuddled Words: August 2009
http://psleavitt.blogspot.com/2009_08_01_archive.html
One chapter ends, another begins. On Thursday, August 13, 2009. If my life was a novel, I don't think anyone would read past the introduction. Fortunately, this blog contains only an abridged version. Anyway, in keeping with this "novel of life" metaphor, tomorrow will mark the end of what has been an exciting chapter in my life: a summer-long business reporting internship at The Arizona Republic. And as this internship comes to a close, I'm struck by one thought: Nothing lasts. So here are four books I ...
Fickle, Fuddled Words: November 2009
http://psleavitt.blogspot.com/2009_11_01_archive.html
This is my November. On Wednesday, November 4, 2009. A few nights ago, I realized that for each of the last six Novembers, I've lived in a different city. Six cities in six Novembers. And it is a near certainty that next November, that number will rise to seven. Here's the breakdown:. November 2004: Mesa, AZ. November 2005: Cheongju, South Korea. November 2006: Gwangju, South Korea. November 2007: Scottsdale, AZ. November 2008: Phoenix, AZ. November 2009: Tempe, AZ. View from the sideline. ASU quarterbac...
Fickle, Fuddled Words: December 2009
http://psleavitt.blogspot.com/2009_12_01_archive.html
One last peek over my shoulder. On Thursday, December 31, 2009. This year has certainly been the most eventful 365 days of my life. My circumstances, my priorities and my goals are much different than on Jan. 1. The first half of 2009 was just ridiculously fun. In August, I transitioned from a full-time Pulliam Fellow to a part-time community intern, working out of the Republic's Mesa office. Just two weeks later, the phone on my desk rang, and I was offered a full-time job. Technically, I slept ...But I...

Sister Porter back on the Square - and loving it! Salt Lake City Temple Square Mission Sep 2009-March 2011. Friday, August 27, 2010. AFTER comes the Miracle 8/27/10. We had a wonderful week once again at Temple Square. I cannot believe that it is almost September. What happens to the time? Does time just go by faster as a missionary? Did that really happen? That's incredible." I was THRILLED! Ya I know. amazing. We are just reminding the sisters that they can be themselves while on the phone! I am so imp...
The Guthries.: June 2012
http://gavinlovescessa.blogspot.com/2012_06_01_archive.html
Thursday, June 28, 2012. Monday, June 4, 2012. Mr and Mrs. Howard Thruston. They are awesome people and a verrry cute couple. My Very First (real) Mother's Day. Jenna and Enrique are Catholic so they were married in Saint Mary's Catholic church. It was a beautiful ceremony and you could feel the spirit there. They had a full "mass" service which included the sacrament and everything. It was amazing. She was so happy and the room was filled with love. Amy, me, Jenna, Enrique, and Emily).
The Guthries.: Jeep Grand Cherokee 2014
http://gavinlovescessa.blogspot.com/2013/12/jeep-grand-cherokee-2014.html
Sunday, December 22, 2013. Jeep Grand Cherokee 2014. July 31st, 2013. Gavin bought me my first real car! I have never picked out my own car before. Gavin usually does that (because he's the man and all) but this time I got to choose my dream car and go down to the dealership and pick it out! The inside is beautiful and has a clean look. Not to mention the largest touch screen on the market ;) My favorite color is black so I was ecstatic when they had a black on black (with leather, eek! Needless to say I...

Riding off into the Sunset. On Monday, September 28, 2009. A few days ago, I was driving on the Loop 202 SanTan freeway in Gilbert, and I was treated to this spectacular sunset. Some would say I shouldn't have taken a photo while driving. That's probably true. But then I wouldn't have a picture of the sun setting behind South Mountain to share with you tonight. I would have been forced to write yet another heavy, philosophical blog post. Stay the thought. A Code of Honour. On Sunday, September 27, 2009.
The Guthries.: Gram's Monster Party!!
http://gavinlovescessa.blogspot.com/2014/06/grams-monster-party.html
Thursday, June 26, 2014. My little monster is growing up! I can't believe he's already two years old! Which now that I think about it, that's not very old. He's still my baby. We of course had to throw him a HUGE monster bash! I love throwing parties but I especially love throwing parties for my little prince. I thought a monster theme would be perfect for this little man to kick off his terrible twos! Haha It also was cute that his birthday is right before Halloween. His little ego puffs up and it's the...
Carly Jo : Quote for Tuesday
http://carlyjoporter.blogspot.com/2013/05/i-came-across-this-quote-from-our.html
Tuesday, May 7, 2013. I came across this quote from our beloved prophet, Gordon B. Hinckley, and thought it appropriate to share. Girls, Aim high, but do not aim so high that you totally miss the target. True love is not so much a matter of romance as it is a matter of anxious concern for the well-being of one's companion.". GORDON B. HINCKLEY. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). A bit about me. My name is Carly Jo and I live in Boston. I am very. Click Here to visit my Piano Studio website.

This is a place to share our life and adventures with all of our family and friends. Welcome and feel free to comment. Thursday, March 12, 2009. I have gone shopping. 5 Miles Per Hour is REALLY fast. When you are running on a treadmill. Yes, you guessed it.I have been getting back to the gym routinely again. I have learned a few things this time around:. 1 You do not have run as fast as the skinny chick on the next treadmill over. 4 Gym clothes get really smelly.really fast. Tuesday, January 27, 2009.

Andrew & Gabrielle in Oman
Andrew and Gabrielle in Oman. Life in sleepy hollow. Friday, November 12, 2010. A landscape of mosques. Something I have wanted to do for awhile now: finally, I've remembered to take the camera out with me and actually snap some photies of mosques I pass frequently. Here's a few for you:. Our local mosque - outside the school gates. Sultan Qaboos Mosque - otherwise known as the Grand Mosque. This is one of my favourites - near to my work. Another one I like on the way to/from work. The minister of the Di...

Sunday, June 20, 2010. The day has come and gone, but the house is still not ours. If not having any stairs is not an issue, then how about the fact that the stove have not been installed and there are still electrical fixtures missing, of the fact that we have not hot water because the shutoff value to the water heater runs like a facet if the water into the house is turn on. I do not believe the home is yet able to be occupied. Sunday, June 20, 2010. Links to this post. Monday, June 14, 2010. We feel i...

Everyday Life with the Benacs
Everyday Life with the Benacs. Tuesday, May 10, 2011. I recently picked up and old table saw and router table for dirt cheap. It's been a ton of fun learning how to use these new tools. It's also been spring cleaning around old town Temple which means people are throwing away some great old wood. I've picked up a bunch lately and been able to make a few cool things. Take a look. A red toy box for a bunch of lincoln logs we found at a garage sale. The best piece yet, a TV cabinet out of old salvaged wood.

Tomorrow is a day with limitless potential
Tomorrow is a day with limitless potential. Tuesday, October 20, 2009. So it's been FOREVER since I updated our blog.so here goes. We found out April 28th (the day before my finals of my senior year in my undergrad) that we were finally expecting again! Anyway, I've been doing fine. I wasn't really sick at all and this has been a super easy pregnancy; good thing or I'd never do it again and Heavenly Father knows that! A week later on August 13th Drew and I had our ultrasound to find out the baby's gender...
