Wednesday, September 3, 2014. Disney - Day 5. After a long day at the Magic Kingdom yesterday, we knew we needed a day off from the parks. Thankfully we love our resort and knew it would be both relaxing and fun for the kids to just hang out here at the Liki Tiki! By the time we got up and going the rains had moved in, but that wasn't going to stop our fun! With just a sunny rain, it was perfect weather to swim, play, and splash in puddles. And thankfully, the rain didn't last all that long anyway.

Saturday, June 29, 2013. We got to go back out to our cousins' house today, but this time for their annual Independence Day party! Jaime knows how to throw an awesome party, and this was no exception! Kate and Gabe kept running back and forth between the pool and giant waterslide while my mom and I spent the party chasing Grant all over the place! My Aunt Deanna with Kate, Gabe, and Grant. Monday, June 30, 2014. Ping Pong Meet #2. Kate won't be an officially registered Boomer until tomorrow (July 1st), but Coach Tom knew she really wanted to participate in the Ping Pong meet so he added her into the schedule this afternoon! These swim meets are fun and definitely a confidence booster. Kate and Gabe are not strong swimmers with all the strokes yet, but they are learning! I'm curious to know how these events compare to a real meet, which we will be attending soon enough. Sunday, June 29, 2014.

Tuesday, December 31, 2013. I can't believe it's already time to say goodbye to another year. I feel like the years are flying by faster and faster each year. To celebrate the year, my parents are coming over to help us ring in the New Year! These kids are always ready to party! Kate was excited to help me set the table this year. To get ready for our New Years Eve celebration. We started our fun around 7pm, so we had plenty of time. To play while waiting for the ball to drop! A toast to a great 2014!

Sunday, August 31, 2014. Disney - Day 2. Today we are at Hollywood Studios for some Frozen Summer Fun! Grant is staying at the condo with Grandma and PawPaw so it's all about Kate and Gabe. Only problem, despite all the snowflakes everywhere, it is SO hot! We stood in the sun for nearly an hour, securing a good viewing spot for the Frozen parade. While we waited and melted in the heat, a Cast Member came by handing out free snowballs, a.k.a. cups of water! We got a ticket for the Frozen Sing-a-long!

Tuesday, September 30, 2014. Pack 226 Flag Retirement. I was very excited when I found out that Gabe's Cub Scout pack would be participating in a flag retirement ceremony. We had never been a part of something like this before and it was truly amazing. There was so much respect and care given to each tattered flag to prepare them for burning.
