Thursday, May 28, 2015. Tuesday, May 12, 2015. The hero that Gotham deserves. Thursday, March 26, 2015. This project reflects pictures that I've taken by mistake, but as I am reviewing them I keep finding little things that I really like. Thursday, February 5, 2015. I liked how I was able to put the focus on the words. This was a very time consuming piece, but I was very happy with the outcome. I like how the color improved this photo. The crack going vertically down looks like a lighting bolt somehow.

DrewPhotoJackson: January 2015

http://drewphotojackson.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html

Wednesday, January 28, 2015. Light Painting and Levitation. I thought I got a nice levitating photo here. The bent knee gives it some depth. Although this is really 'levitating', the foot comes very close to the ground but doesn't touch. I liked the positioning of this photo. This photo was a good action shot. The black and white affect on this photo really made it for me. This was also a nice action shot - the ball seems suspended in the air. I really liked how this photo was centered. The exaggerated b...

DrewPhotoJackson: November 2014

http://drewphotojackson.blogspot.com/2014_11_01_archive.html

Monday, November 3, 2014. Yousef Karsh ft. Paul Dunn, Milo Leamon, and Sam Loeser. In this series of photos I wanted to capture the essence of deep thoughtfulness. This photo really captured what I was looking for. The subject looks very deep in thought. This is probably my favorite photo of the bunch. It took a lot of directing but in the end I was able to get a really good shot. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile. Yousef Karsh ft. Paul Dunn, Milo Leamon, and Sam L.

DrewPhotoJackson: October 2014

http://drewphotojackson.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html

Thursday, October 9, 2014. Roland - I told the subject to think about the last time that he cried. The lips in the photo are somewhat pursed and the subject seems to be in deep thought. Ana - This photo was interesting because the subject's attention was directed somewhere else but I still feel like I captured emotion. Isaiah - The shadow in the photo makes the subject look very serious. Jeremy - The angle of the subject makes it look like he is very focused on the camera. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Ana's Pictures : Color Grids Draft 1

http://drewphotosana.blogspot.com/2015/05/color-grids-draft-1.html

Friday, May 15, 2015. Color Grids Draft 1. This week and last week I have been experimenting with color grids. I search for specific colors in the environment and put them into a 3x3 grid with pictures of similar hues. This is my blue color grid. I am trying to improve it at the moment because I am not. A fan of the two bottom right pictures. This is my green color grid. I like it because of how much of it is nature, and. Made from nature. :). A much cleaner look. Ana's Pictures : December 2014

http://drewphotosana.blogspot.com/2014_12_01_archive.html

Friday, December 12, 2014. Independent Project 2- Color Effects. I like this picture because it was originally from another project,. But the fuchsia of the flowers is a bright contrast to the black and white. I like this picture because the mountain is actually brown,. But using effects of color, I made it appear black and white. I like this picture because the door is extremely colorful, and. The subject is in black and white. It is an interesting contrast. It almost feels strangely warm. The element o...

http://drewphotosana.blogspot.com/2014_11_01_archive.html

Monday, November 3, 2014. In this portrait, I felt I needed to connect more with. The subject's eyes, so I began to take more natural,. In this shot I felt I captured more of the warmth I was. Looking for, and I was really pleased at how happy. I like this picture because I think the subject's personality. Really shows through nicely. I like this because the subject looks happy :). This picture is pretty much what I wanted from the beginning,. A beautiful smile and a natural environment.

Drew Photo: Isaiah: April 2014

http://drewphotoisaiah.blogspot.com/2014_04_01_archive.html

Thursday, April 24, 2014. This picture is of Zach on Pine and Broderick. i tried to mimic zach's style by shooting in black and white. i also wanted to take a picture of him with leading lines on the street since that was one of his strongest sets. This is a picture of Sami on the 3rd floor balcony. i noticed that she takes lots of portraits in black and white. i also wanted to get some reflecting in this photo because she took photos with a mirror. Friday, October 16, 2009. Here are some photos i attempted to take of any interesting image in motion. So the focus maybe off and they may be slightly blurry, but thats the point. Tried to capture movement in a still photo. I tired to show the movement of people, and the idea that everyone is always going somewhere and always busy going somewhere from somewhere. Just some more portraits i took while trying to focus on capturing the idea of thirds. Thursday, October 15, 2009. DREW 3, UNIVERSITY 2. Http:/ ...

Wednesday, May 25, 2016. I took one photo in the reflection of a door. I took the second in the reflection of my glasses with Alex wearing them. The third I took was in the theater and I was trying to convey loneliness, or in other words Drake. These are my best of. Wednesday, January 11, 2017. Multi Frame Images -. Friday, December 9, 2016. For this image I intensified the colors and. Brightened the lights by using the brush tool. I used the blur tool to further blur this image. I also. Tried to darken the darks and lighten the lights. I made this photo black and white. Then used the. Brush to re color the street line. For this image I decided to turn the saturation to. This image is merely black and white. For this image I also made it black and white. In this ser...

Wednesday, January 11, 2017. I experimented with using the same and different images within my multi frames. I found that I could tell interesting stories using both techniques. I thought the use of flight in the images gave them more depth. Friday, December 9, 2016. Friday, October 16, 2009. For these pictures we were just taking thirds which is really where you push the main idea of the photo to 1/3 of the photo and make open space around them. We were just taking portrats of people. trying to get them to have no emotion on their face. it required team work between the photgrapher and the person getting taken pictures taken of them. Wednesday, May 18, 2011. We continued focusing on a corner of the imaginary grid we visualize while taking the photo. I chose to make this series a very literal representation of the "rule of thirds" technique.
