Drewphotorosie: spring four

http://drewphotorosie.blogspot.com/2015/05/spring-four.html

Friday, May 8, 2015. For this fourth series, I tried to find new, different textures than what I had photographed before. When searching for textures, I found that rust is always a rich one as well as walls that are bumped up and are somewhat dirty. My approach was to set the camera on macro, to go out and walk around, photographing all sorts of different textures, while getting in close on them. May 9, 2015 at 6:39 AM. Your series is amazing! May 9, 2015 at 12:12 PM. May 10, 2015 at 11:51 AM. I think yo...

http://drewphotorosie.blogspot.com/2015/04/spring-two.html

Thursday, April 23, 2015. April 26, 2015 at 10:16 AM. I love this whole set! The contrast between the flowers and the industrial textures is super cool! The last photo and the first one are my favorites because of the detail and composition in the frame. Awesome job! April 26, 2015 at 3:04 PM. April 26, 2015 at 3:49 PM. I really like the different textures which you have managed to incorporate into these photos, great job. April 26, 2015 at 4:56 PM. Really really good job here! April 26, 2015 at 8:39 PM.

Drewphotorosie: spring three

http://drewphotorosie.blogspot.com/2015/04/spring-three.html

Thursday, April 30, 2015. For this third draft, I tried to photograph richer textures, and I tried to make the photos really focused. I found some great new textures that I haven't photographed yet and I found that editing the pictures to make them darker really brings out the textures even more. May 3, 2015 at 7:06 AM. I love the intricate textures in these photos. They are very sharp and gritty, which creates an industrious feeling within the set. Great work! May 3, 2015 at 7:18 PM. I think you have a g...

Drewphotorosie: December 2014

http://drewphotorosie.blogspot.com/2014_12_01_archive.html

Friday, December 12, 2014. For this series, I chose to focus on textures. I tried to zoom in as much as possible in order to capture the rich textures. My approach was this: I put the camera on the macro setting. I found very interesting, flat textures, and zoomed in as far as I possibly could without having any blurriness. Drew Photo Hadley: Close ups draft 1

http://drewphotohadley.blogspot.com/2014/05/close-ups-draft-1.html

Thursday, May 8, 2014. Close ups draft 1. For this series, i changed my topic to close ups. I started off this first draft by testing difference textures. I tried to focus on making the viewer imagine from what big picture this image came from. May 13, 2014 at 12:55 PM. Overall, great pictures and great work. I really like the vibrant colors, but I think that you should try to take your pictures from more of a flat and straight view. May 14, 2014 at 1:01 PM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Drew Photo Hadley: draft four

http://drewphotohadley.blogspot.com/2014/03/draft-four.html

Thursday, March 20, 2014. For this post i continued the series i have been working on. it is my last draft. over the course of this series i worked on improving angles to show a flat surface using buildings . March 20, 2014 at 9:55 AM. Overall, nice job. I really like how clean and sharp all your pictures are, but my only suggestion is that you try to make the camera more straight because you are tilting the camera a little bit too far one way or the other, but besides that great work. http://drewphotomax.blogspot.com/2014_03_01_archive.html

Thursday, March 20, 2014. For this series I am still trying to perfect the Richard Avedon's style. His style usually consists of portrait pictures with a minimal background. Additionally the subject always expresses real emotion instead of the "say cheese" type of picture. Thursday, March 13, 2014. Thursday, March 6, 2014. Series draft 2: Avedon. For this series I tried to capture other emotions besides sad while keeping the expression unposed and natural. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

For this assignment, I tried taking pictures but I made mistakes with my phone camera. I would choose the wrong filter, or the exposure and saturation would be too high. Thursday, May 19, 2011. Rule of Thirds 2. In this series on the rule of thirds I decided to use more of the rule of thirds version that featured an object in the corner and still complied to the rule of thirds. I tried to find interesting objects with plain but complicated backgrounds that highlighted the objects that are complying with the rule of thirds. I tried to take photos of a wide variety of things to add to the overall series. Monday, May 16, 2011. Monday, May 9, 2011. Tuesday, May 3, 2011.
