A Fleeting Thought...: May 2009
http://fleetingthoughtspresent.blogspot.com/2009_05_01_archive.html
Friday, May 29, 2009. We found that it took about twenty-four hours for us to recover the reality of each other, even though we would have been thinking constantly of each other. What happened, we decided, was that, apart, we would slightly idealize each other, and to that extent lose the real person.". Unfortunately, there is far too much conflict within our flawed yet fanciful beings. . I think it's alright to remember people as they are. Monday, May 25, 2009. Humility is insecure, or is it? As Christi...

Ponderings of a Med Student
http://ponderingsofamedstudent.blogspot.com/2009/05/it-has-been-while-since-my-last-post.html
Ponderings of a Med Student. My thoughts on life, travel, books, movies, oh, and medical school. It has been a while since my last post. The thoughts are just a jumbled mess. I have been on vaction since last Sunday, lounging at the beach and touring the historic districts of Charleston and Savannah. Tomorrow, I return home, and I hope I will be able to write something worth reading. Until then, may I recommend. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. A Fleeting Thought...: April 2009
http://fleetingthoughtspresent.blogspot.com/2009_04_01_archive.html
Thursday, April 30, 2009. There is always something about the weather that puts me in one mood or another. The weather has an enormous influence over my emotions. And there was just "something" about the weather today that brought back a nostalgia that I didn't quite understand. Very much like having memories that I don't recall. Wednesday, April 29, 2009. Love of My Life. I'm free falling into this. Tuesday, April 28, 2009. Weird 90's songs always wash this strange nostalgia over me. I'm kind of into it.

A Fleeting Thought...: An Alliance Between Man and Woman
http://fleetingthoughtspresent.blogspot.com/2009/05/alliance-between-man-and-woman.html
Sunday, May 17, 2009. An Alliance Between Man and Woman. An introduction for this post is a bit troublesome for me. I can't seem to choose between two concepts, therefore, I will share both. I think very highly of C.S. Lewis and take his commentary on various subjects to heart. Here's a bit of what he has to say on "being in love" and marriage:. You cannot make it the basis of a whole life. It is a noble feeling, but it is still a feeling.". And my personal favorite:. This is something that I feel I've k...

By Paul Theroux will be my companion, for starters, and if I'm lucky, a few more friends will join me on some domestic excursions. May 14, 2009 at 11:49 PM. FINALLY. Did you wait til today to start it solely so you could say "one year ago to the date"? I feel like that's something you would do. Regardless, I'm glad you're on board with the blogging scene. Ponderings of a Med Student: Friends
http://ponderingsofamedstudent.blogspot.com/2009/05/friends.html
Ponderings of a Med Student. My thoughts on life, travel, books, movies, oh, and medical school. A week has already past since I crossed the stage and moved my tassel to the left side of my cap. I do not feel any older or smarter than I did last time around, but I am sure that this feeling is false. Over the past four years, I have learned many things- the Schrödinger. I must agree with Walt Whitman when he writes, "I no doubt deserved my enemies, but I don't believe I deserved my friends." Quality r...

A Fleeting Thought...: Insufficient Cause
http://fleetingthoughtspresent.blogspot.com/2009/05/insufficient-cause.html
Thursday, May 21, 2009. There is something so needless about the way we live life. Something so petty and exasperating. . Our lives are based on this moment, here and now. Living in the moment becomes draining, a chore. . You hear people say "Live like you were dying", "Live like there in no tomorrow", "Eat, drink and be merry, for tomorrow we shall die" and any other cliches you can think of. But I don't think any of those sayings are compatible with Christianity. . Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
