United Kingdom Study Abroad 2010. Travel back to London:. We went to eat a ham and cheese omelet at a local restaurant for breakfast at 10:00 am Then we went on a 2 1/2 hour guided bus tour of Paris. United Kingdom Study Abroad 2010. At 9:15 am we took a bus to the TIE (Transport Initiatives Edinburgh). Headquarters to attend an informative presentation on the importants of the new Edinburgh tram system. Being developed today. The presentation was given by one of the project leaders who explained why the tram system will help the local economy, and she explained the specifics of the project such as pricing and schedules. In the village of South Queensferry, on the banks of the River Forth.

United Kingdom Study Abroad 2010. We started working on thesis at 8:30 am At 12:30 pm some of us went to eat lunch at The Filling Station to watch the Open Tournament. United Kingdom Study Abroad 2010. We stayed in our seats until 5:30 pm and then left to follow Tiger Woods to the #18 hole. While there we finished the remaining groups finish their rounds and then took a taxi back to the train station. We took the 7:15 pm train back to Edinburgh where we returned at 8:00 pm. United Kingdom Study Abroad 2010. We woke up at 9:00 am and ate breakfast at the neighborhood pastry shop. Then we rode a train to the Arc de Triomphe. Which is a monument commissioned by Napoleon in 1806 to commemorate his war victories. From there we walked directly down the Champs Ellysees. Towards the Louvre. The Champs Ellysees is where you can find luxury shops, theaters, and cafes. We reached the Louvre Museum. Which is the oldest ancient code of law dating back to 1790 B.C.
