A day in the life of the Spencer's. Life is a journey, not a destination. Thursday, May 21, 2009. A typical morning at the Spencer's. Zack has learned to open the back door and escape while I am feeding Noah. It is now a morning ritual to play in the backyard in his jammies. We took a trip to Spokane last weekend. Zack got to sit on Grandpa's tractor. He was thrilled to sit on it, but when we turned it on, he wanted nothing to do with it. Maybe next time he will go for a ride. Noah - 2 1/2 months.

Sunday, July 29, 2012. We decided to spend the rest of our day at Navy Pier just along side of Lake Michigan. Beautiful views of the Chicago skyline! Jackson and Sophia on the swings! Saturday, July 28, 2012. Getting ready to get on a plane.to Chicago! These two were the cutest, most well-behaved little travelers. They were both so excited to fly. We made it and we are at a Cubs game! Well, we are actually at the Cubby Bar across from Wrigley! The Chicago Cubs were one of Shawn's favorite baseball teams growing up. I am so glad we were able to go to the stadium and game together. There is so much history and tradition surrounding this place. We went to the game with Naomi and John.

Tuesday, May 29, 2012. Ellee's End of Year Preschool Program. Ellee's preschool year came and went so fast this year! Here we are ready for the End of Year Program. She still has a couple weeks of school before she's done for Summer! Here she is on stage, in her element! Ellee had a very important job at the beginning of her program. She never even mentioned she would be holding the American Flag for her class. Ellee receiving her preschool certificate. Way to go Ellee! Proud, proud Mama! Shawn triumphed...

Thursday, July 05, 2012. One morning we all went to an organized games day put on by the resort. The kids were able to be on the same team as their siblings. Look at this team work! We were trying to get a ping pong ball from one part of the field to the other without letting it fall. Here's Ellee in our team race. We had to put on a cape, socks and really big underwear and run down to a bat, spin around a few times and run back to tag the next person. Relaxing in the hot tub after all those tough races!
