Zion and Bryce Canyon. Thursday, September 8, 2011. The Rockies, Eh! We started out easy and the following day undertook a pretty big hike with lots of elevation gain at the start. The trailhead was at the base of Takkakaw Falls, one of the largest waterfalls in the world at 1260 feet so we took advantage of the opportunity to warm up our legs with a quick jaunt to the base of the falls.
