All good nut juice contains chunks. Saturday, November 25, 2006. This Rambutan Juice was far too sweet for my liking. It was low on fruit flavour (like a heavily watered down grapefruit juice) and high in both sugar and artificial sweetener. Perhaps a little too murky to be able to appreciate the chunkage properly. The chunks themselves were also poor, with taste and texture both like soggy cardboard. There was only just enough fibrous material to warrant a need to floss afterwards.

There was a bit of fibre content to give it a little chewiness but why do they have to smooth it at all? Can't they see that in these days of super sized foods, like the Kit-Kat Chunky et al, there is massive demand for chunky drinks? M&S, get your self together and start selling the Orange and Mango Chunky we all so desperately crave.

Tuesday, March 16, 2010. By the way, yesterday's post was my 200th. Man, time flies. Ian brought home a couple of canned Korean soft drinks that we've been curious about. Birak Shikye" (Nostalgia Drink) and "McCol." Just to clarify, I mean 'soft drink' as in nonalcoholic. Most Korean canned beverages aren't carbonated. Here's another random tidbit for you: upon Googling the Shikye, I discovered that there's an entire blog dedicated to " drinks with chunks. I tried the McCol first. My instincts were right.
