Picking up the pieces | Making Life Count
https://makinglifecount.wordpress.com/2012/09/09/picking-up-the-pieces
8230;It’s your choice. September 9, 2012. Picking up the pieces. It’s been so long since I’ve written a blog about, well, my life. I’ve attempted to several times, but found myself frustrated because I couldn’t find the words to accurately describe what I was feeling. I think I’m ready now; ready to share what’s been going on with my heart. After all, I figured, if God brought us here, He certainly won’t let us down. He never has before so why was I to think any differently? Forget it. Why? Now, to be fa...

A Penny in a Jar | Making Life Count
https://makinglifecount.wordpress.com/2008/05/23/a-penny-in-a-jar
8230;It’s your choice. May 23, 2008. A Penny in a Jar. If you were to stick a penny in a jar then throw that jar into the sea, both the jar and the penny would be in the water, but only one would feel the effects of it more- obviously, the jar. But, does this make the penny any less in the sea? Of course not, but it’s protected by the jar. How many times have you felt alone, adrift at sea? Leave a Reply Cancel reply. To be (hurt) or not to be (hurt)? That is the question. | Making Life Count

8230;It’s your choice. September 19, 2012. To be (hurt) or not to be (hurt)? That is the question. I’ve come to learn that it’s not true vulnerability until someone has enough of you, or knows enough about your heart, that it can be used to hurt you, but yet you chose to care for them enough to think the best and believe that they have the best intentions. The same is true for me as an adult. I can know full well that I’m going to get hurt, will fight against it, but in the end, will put myself...It crea...

Turning on the GPS | Making Life Count
https://makinglifecount.wordpress.com/2008/05/07/turning-on-the-gps
8230;It’s your choice. May 7, 2008. Turning on the GPS. It’s the end of the day (11:43 PM exactly) and I’ve been contemplating all day what to write about. It has suddenly dawned on me as sit to read a book… I’ve learned that today has been a day of learning to trust. There are so many reason why. For one, I’ve recently felt like maybe God has left my corner. Things aren’t going just as I’ve. Had planned…in so many areas, I might add. Is it because I don’t feel the answers come quickly enough? I wonder: ...

Having it all figured out… or not | Making Life Count

8230;It’s your choice. September 21, 2012. Having it all figured out… or not. Oh how it makes me laugh when people look at me and say, “I can’t wait to have my life all figured out too.” TOO. As in, ALSO. To imply that I DO. I didn’t realized I looked THAT composed (I’m laughing as I type these words). As I approach forty (can it really be? I say all of this to say, even in this, I still find myself at a loss at the moment. “Who am I, really? How will I be remembered? What is my next step? You are commen...

Bird Seeds Anyone? | Making Life Count
https://makinglifecount.wordpress.com/2008/06/05/bird-seed-anyone
8230;It’s your choice. June 5, 2008. I recently got a bird feeder and bird bath (I know… I sound really, really old don’t I? So some birds can eat gourmet seeds? They already have worms somewhere don’t they? Oh, but i love to watch them eat it. Sometimes about 7 birds will sit perched on the feeder. They’re so cute. Plus, they seem to know me now. I go outside and I almost feel like Snow White (except I’m just waiting for one of them to poop on me). 8221; Matthew 6:26-27. Leave a Reply Cancel reply.
