I use cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) as my primary focus for change and emotional health. CBT is the treatment of choice for many issues, including mood disorders, phobias, panic attacks, social anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder, specific phobias, generalized anxiety disorder, chronic pain, insomnia, substance abuse and eating disorders. I initially focus on developing a strong therapeutic connection, since without this, positive change is unlikely or difficult.

My fee is on a sliding scale from $80.00 to $160.00 per session, based on your financial situation. Fees can be paid with cash or by cheque. This fee may be covered by your employee health benefits, health insurance or extended health care coverage that you may have. Psychological services may be tax-deductible if claimed under health care expenses on your income tax return. A late cancellation fee of $50.00 will apply for a cancellation less than 24 hours prior to the start of the counseling session.
