His dementia had gotten to the point that we could not care for him here at home anymore.He got pneumonia in both lungs, followed by a bladder infection. He was 87 years old and could simply not fight to recover. I miss you Daddy, not the person that was sick and frustrated, the person that I grew up with that was my Dad! I got an easy chili recipe from a gal at work, she got it on the Food Network. Also, baking cornbread as I write. I made Duane pancakes for breakfast, I used a new pan and they didn't get done enough. Taking note not to use that pan for that again!
