Dr Mo in Cairo. Monday, August 29, 2011. Tonight I went on my first felucca ride. I had been looking forward to this for months and months and months and it didnt disappoint! It was a warm evening, around 30 deg C, but on the Nile there was a refreshing breeze; its was the perfect temperature. We left the school gates and walked up to the Corniche (40 min walk) meandering through Rd 9 on the way. We got the felucca at the dock beside TGI Fridays (though it should be Thursdays here! I gave up a permanent ...

Dr Mo in Cairo. Sunday, August 28, 2011. Well school is well underway though we are just about to break up for Eid holday :-) The kids are great but still miss my pupils from Glasgow! A little further along we passed along the edges of Tahrir Square. I was craning my neck to try and see what was going on but it was so surrounded by cars and buses that it was impossible to catch a glipmse of anything on the ground. Tahrir Sq is in at the back there somewhere.we didnt stop so i dont know exactly where.
