Secondary school science and other interesting tidbits. Sunday, 10 February 2013. Rowan's guide to why the Earth is NOT-flat. Mr Bishop says that the Earth is flat, but I totally disagree! Here are a few reasons how we know that the Earth is a sphere. 1) You see boat masts first as they come over the horizon. 2) The Earth's shadow doesn't change shape in a Lunar Eclipse. 3) Pictures of the Earth. http://www.mrdyer.org/2014/04/fusion-in-game-fe26.html
Secondary school science and other interesting tidbits. Saturday, 26 April 2014. Fusion in the game Fe[26]. In this game your job is to continue to fuse elements until you reach the magic Fe[26]. Not really magic). The caveat is that only certain elements fuse with others and you need to find the right combinations to make it all the way. You might ask "How accurate is Fe[26]? Well those nice people at popular mechanics have looked into that for us! The game is a port of an older game 2048.
