Lauren and Olli's Travel Diary
http://laurenandolli.blogspot.com/2006/09/ollis-impressions-of-shark-dive-and.html
Lauren and Olli's Travel Diary. September 30, 2006. Olli's impressions of the shark dive and Singaporean/Vietnamese weather and driving conditions are very similar to my own, but there are a couple more activities that we did in Singapore worth mentioning. We had read in our Singapore guide that Singaporeans love to eat good food and shop and so we focused much of our first day in Singapore doing just that! I've forgotten the name already! After our shark dive, we got to see rare pink dolphins! We combin...

Lauren and Olli's Travel Diary
http://laurenandolli.blogspot.com/2006/12/sorry-about-long-wait-between-posts.html
Lauren and Olli's Travel Diary. December 07, 2006. Sorry about the long wait between posts this time! Olli has been uploading some more photos, but we haven't written an entry in quite a while. I'll do my best to fill in the gaps. After leaving New Zealand, we spent five days on O'ahu (an island in Hawaii), in Waikiki. The weather was perfect! Each day was sunny, warm and just right for heading to the beach, which is exactly what we did every day except our first day. The Hawaiian part of our round-the-w...

Lauren and Olli's Travel Diary
http://laurenandolli.blogspot.com/2007/01/were-back-in-geneva-switzerland-olli.html
Lauren and Olli's Travel Diary. January 15, 2007. We're back in Geneva, Switzerland! Olli and I have been "home" now for a little over two weeks and have been very busy settling in. We have spent a lot of time reorganizing our apartment, catching up with old friends and getting back into a regular routine. It's hard to believe our "Big Trip" is actually over and now all we have to prove we traveled all that time is photographs, video clips and fond memories. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Just Visiting: April 2008
http://litespeedjdf.blogspot.com/2008_04_01_archive.html
Some of the chronicles from my time here on earth. Monday, April 28, 2008. A Weekend in the Desert. We rode Poison Spider Mesa on Friday morning and Slickrock that afternoon. Then we did Porcupine Rim on Saturday. Sunday morning we broke camp and headed to Fruita to get some book cliff riding in on our way home. There we rode Kessel's run, Zippety-do-da, and Prime Cut. 3 of the guys were so hardcore that they stayed an extra day in Fruita and rode Mary's loop area! Links to this post. Links to this post.

Just Visiting: The Hard Questions Faced
http://litespeedjdf.blogspot.com/2008/10/hard-questions-faced.html
Some of the chronicles from my time here on earth. Friday, October 03, 2008. The Hard Questions Faced. My wife and I just started a new life group (aka small group, aka bible study) at our house and are very excited about the topic we will be discussing. We wanted a topic that would interest anybody that might come, whether a christian or not, so we decided to study the hard questions against the christian faith. We will be using Letters From a Skeptic. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). 2 ways to live.

Just Visiting: May 2007
http://litespeedjdf.blogspot.com/2007_05_01_archive.html
Some of the chronicles from my time here on earth. Tuesday, May 15, 2007. I just wanted to share how proud I am of my amazing wife! On May 11th 2007 she graduated with her PhD in Chemistry! Which meant that Kendra was pressured to finish up her degree faster than she would have (it normally takes 6 years) and her advisor was thousands of miles away, not very convenient. Kendra was able to carry on in spite of this blow to her productivity and finish her degree a year early! Links to this post.

Some of the chronicles from my time here on earth. Friday, July 27, 2007. Winter Park #3 - Cross Country Super Loop. The third winter park race was on July 7th. The course consisted of one BIG loop at the ski resort. The map can be viewed here. I raced sport category again so my course was 14.7 miles. The race was pretty hard and I only ended up getting 8th place. I think this was largely due to the very long downhill portion of the race. The complete results can be seen here. Links to this post. I slowl...
