Aspoň je teď co testovat a o čem psát. Začněme rumy. Dostal jsem dva zajímavé kousky – Ron Pampero Anejo Selección 1938. Ron Pampero Anejo Selección 1938. Rum má tmavou mahagonovou barvu. Středa 19. února 2014. Výlet do maďarských lázní a za dobrotami. V Budapešti jsme našli ubytování téměř v centru přes portál Airbnb.com. A to za velmi příjemné cca 4 tisíce za třípokojový byt pro šest osob na celý víkend. Mimochodem – slečna „ubytovatelka“ měla velmi netradiční maďarské příjmení Rubesch. Pondělí 12. ledna 2015. Cigar Club Cognac XO Jean Fillioux. Hned ze začátku přiznávám, že jsem nekuřák, takže můj požitek z tohoto koňaku pravděpodobně nemůže být dokonalý. Nicméně i přes tento „handicap“ jsem se rozhodl koňak Cigar Club XO. Koňak Cigar Club (Jean Fillioux) se vyrábí z hroznů pocházejících výhradně z oblasti Grande Champagne a je namíchán z „pálenek“ o průměrném stáří 30 let. Něco málo o výrobci. Vybral jsem si Ragnaud Sabourin Alliance No 4 (VS). Což je základní a finančně nejdostupnější destilát tohoto producenta. Ragnaud Sabourin Alliance No 4 (VS). Vůně: lehké květinové tóny. Chuť: intenzivní, sušší, s mírnými odstíny dubových sudů. Závěr: delší, ale příjemný. Koňak z revolučního roku: Frapin Château de Fontpinot Millésime 1989.

Pátek 12. června 2015. Cognac Leyrat Lot 71 Chai de la Distillerie. O značce koňaku Leyrat, který vyrábí Domaine de Chez Maillard ve vesnici Claix, jsem před časem psal. První ochutnaný koňak byl Leyrat Lot 50 Chai Ancestral, který vznikl v omezené sérii pro britského importéra. Bohužel už není. Sud je prázdný. Je již vyprodán. Které jsou tematicky laděné (koňak, rum, tequilla atd.). Člověk tak může jednoduše narazit na zajímavé značky, které nemusí být u nás k dostání nebo je jednoduše nezná.
