These are the days of our lives! Thursday, August 21, 2008. The Rainforest.the President's brother.two departed. Yesterday we drove to visit the Gamboa Rainforest. The drive on the Pan American highway was beautiful. A thunderstorm came through and canceled our tour on the panama canal and monkey island. We hope to return before we leave for home. All week, various locals have commented that Gabriel looks like the President's brother! 160; Some have come up to shake his hand! Cancelled due to rain!

These are the days of our lives! Thursday, August 21, 2008. El Valle, located in the Panama’s Coclé province, is one of the few. After lunch, we took a walk through the rainforest (and it was rainy! Along the paths to the waterfall and across the footbridges equipped with our walking sticks. We had a wonderful day. Tonight at dinner we had a visitor at the door. It was a cat. These are the days of our lives! Monday, August 18, 2008. Zipadedoda and Spanish Lessons. Adventures took Gabriel, Philip, Dawn, Bill and Gerard to El Valle for an exciting day in the jungle! 160;After a rugged walk up the mountain these brave individuals zip-lined down the mountain past the waterfall. They saw a sloth on the way, a toucan. And the smallest honey bees known to man! Dawn and Philip opted not to take the available mud bath. But did get the mud facial! 160;Love y'all. .
