A Wizard of Earthsea. The Wheel of Time. The poetry of Lord Byron. I would not say that Byron is my favorite poet. However, he was the first poet that I discovered that I liked, and enjoyed enough to go back and reread. So for that, I am a fan Lord Byron's work. And The Lord of the Rings. And The Last Battle.

I want it to be about more than my thoughts and experiences. If nothing else it will allow those that care to keep tabs on my transient life as a soldier. In any case if it does not add to the Kingdom of God then I'll chop it off and try to use my time and energy in other more fruitful ways. Links to this post.

How does belly button lint accumulate so quickly? My brother Josh made fun of me for filling this out, so I hope someone is gratified by my work. It cost me great pains. That being said, I've seen 114 in their totality and "half or most but not all" of 9 films from this rather eclectic list. Total so far: 7x 1p.

I sometimes find it hard to keep the pace in some situations and weariness from sleep deprevation often gets the better of me. I want to be a help and asset to those around me and not be burdensome. Sarah and Richard go to California. Monday, May 9, 2011. So, believe me when I tell you, that police story is much better in its one line form. The actual experience just involved a lot of waiting around and dozing on the couch. On Saturday night, we met some friends for dinner in Long Beach (where they live). Sarah and Richard go to California. Monday, September 13, 2010. Today was my first day as a teacher. I don't feel any different (maybe more tired), but I hope this is the beginning of something wonderful. The day was chaotic, but the kids were awesome. Being the first day, they were on their best behavior. It is nice to go into a new school where none of the teachers know the students- no one has made any judgments, the slate has been wiped clean. All in all, a good day that gave me a lot to consider.
