We had a nice quiet Easter at home for the first time in this house. The kids said are we going anywhere this year for Easter, can we stay home and have Easter here? Of Course - I said. Cariboo Living with The Kelseys. Saturday, 10 January 2015. The start of this year was an eventful one! We have had the mildest winter - we weren't sure if we would have snow for Christmas, mild temperatures too, for December this is unheard of. But January came in with full force. It started to snow January 3th, it was so nice, made beautiful pictures. Sunday, WOW its still snowing the depth building up quickly. By Monday morning and 12 inches or more, of snow later, we were thinking Oh no!

Cariboo Living with The Kelseys. Friday, 28 February 2014. Quick trip to Sidney. We have tentatively planned a dinner for spring when we come down for birthdays! Turns out Family Day long weekend in Sidney is Lego Days - how perfect is that! My kids LOVE Lego! And it was the Fire Departments 100th anniversary too! Vintage truck the kids could sit in and hook the horn. There was Lego Sculptures all over town in Shop windows and Cafes the bakery even had a cake covered in marzipan lego blocks and people.

Cariboo Living with The Kelseys. Tuesday, 21 October 2014. They ate so much Applesauce too! Monday, 20 October 2014. Hunting and fishing out at Fletcher lake in the Chilcotin. All three boys had a ball - The fishing was great! Such a great time lots of visiting! Second annual Redneck Regatta ato Ruth Lake In August. Russ and Jeremiah on the raft. Water ballon catapult to hit a toilet out on the lake. Always lots of spectators to cheer the teams on. Around the barge trying not to get hit with the fire hose.

Cariboo Living with The Kelseys. Thursday, 19 December 2013. Saddling up to find a tree for friends. Dylan and I took the horses to the back of the property to get a little tree for our friends. Where we found the tree the snow was up to my knees. Spice and Buck had no problem walking through it but I can't imagine it would have been easy for us. When we found the tree Spice dragged it big too - so much easier! Our little buck getting saddled. Spice waiting her turn. Off we go. It was so nice!

This year they took their trains and made a little track in front of the little houses we have out at Christmas and spent hours driving them back and forth through the village. Jeremiah really wanted Russ to join too but he didn't want to participate but we went to cheer them on. They came in last BUT they didn't sink and that is the object of the race. Cariboo Living with The Kelseys. Sunday, 19 October 2014. The kids and I went to Sorrento again this summer to visit Erin - this has become a tradition. We had a great time hanging out visiting and swimming. It was soooooooooo hot though 38 degrees so the lake was sooo nice.
