It will shake you to your core, and tear down all your preconceptions. The amount that children take in is amazing, this is the conclusion I’ve come to. We should never treat a foster child as we would our own. Value them as we would our own yes, treat them the same no. Bad children, they are not. What does not freaking out look like.
