The Farmstead forms the core of a homestead built by farmer Phillip L. Schick in the Dry Creek Valley of southwestern Idaho. Schick settled the land in the early 1860s and lived there into the 20th century. Welcome to Dry Creek. I came up with the name Dry Creek mainly because Dean's Father was raised on Dry Creek. Back when Dean and his Dad were coon hunting his Dad's hounds had Dry Creek before their name. We live very close to Dry Creek where Dean's Dad grew up and hunted. We don't have coon hounds any longer but we still have squirrel dogs, mainly squirrel dogs. But once in a while Dean's brother's will take some of the squirrel dogs coon hunting and find out.
