A butt and a tip).

Fly Boxes | The Dry Fly Guy

I’ve tried a wide variety of fly boxes over the years, and I still haven’t found one that I think is the perfect dry fly box. Being a dry fly fisherman, keeping the fly from being crushed in some way, shape, or form while maintaining easy access to each fly is my priority when selecting a fly box, and these two criteria are not always conducive to one another. The question then becomes, how many fly boxes do you need? Posted by: Dry Fly Guy. January 25, 2014. Charlie Jenkins and his legacy. 2016 The Dry ...

To Collect or Fish? | The Dry Fly Guy

To Collect or Fish? In evaluating the entries there, I found I had a high of 131 fishing days in 2012, and a low of only 26 days in the following year (2013). It should probably be noted that even on my most active fishing year, only 18 of those days were actually a day. Oh, the pains of letting go…. Posted by: Dry Fly Guy. January 12, 2014.
