This year all 42 12th graders graduated high school and 35 students will attend a four year college, 3 will attend a two year college and the rest are joining the military! She advocated using the following tools to assist struggling readers in moving ahead academically: they are Study Island (a web-based program to support students in both reading and math), Learning Point Navigator, Practice tests from the DCAS portal, as well as the following websites -Skillwise (text formats), Read All About It!

The key note speaker was Terry Orr from Bank Street College. What an awesome woman -she discussed the purpose of evaluation and touched on accountability but really drove the point home that the main purpose for evaluation is to p rovide. Redding Middle School also utilized Study Island this past year and had similar results! What results were achieved?
