http://thefutterers.blogspot.com/2011_07_01_archive.html
Monday, July 25, 2011. Top Pick of the Day. So the quality is terrible because it was from my phone, but you get the point. Look at the size of that okra! It came from Elsy's Great Great Uncle's garden. Elsy's getting excited about trying veggies soon :). Wednesday, July 20, 2011. On the Road Again". Since Memorial Day weekend, we (the three Futt's) have kept the pedal to the metal. We have kept the road hoppin'. Next we met up with Joe's family. We hadn't seen them in over two years! It was a quick trip...

Wednesday, February 16, 2011. Well it's time to give an update on this 'bun in the oven' (I looked back to old posts and I'm pretty sure the last update I gave was week 26! We're at 35 weeks right now. So this post is everything baby! January 10, 2011. Joe and I were super thankful that the snow didn't affect our first prenatal appointment here in the states. My friend Meg made some amazing cupcakes that held the big secret. And it was so fun to watch the family get excited about biting in and seeing.

Thursday, January 6, 2011. And So The Culture Shock Begins. Joe and I have been enjoying our self-debriefing, vacation, anniversary/Christmas gifts to each other, and babymoon in London for the last 10 days. It has been so wonderful to spend some time beginning to process our emotions and prepare our hearts for what's to come. more unknowns. We've laughed a lot too! Because we are culture shocking like crazy. And we aren't even in the states yet! 1 ability to eavesdrop effortlessly. Goodbyes are sweeter ...

Everything Elsy: December 2010
http://thefutterers.blogspot.com/2010_12_01_archive.html
Friday, December 24, 2010. Tacky sweaters, Mexican food, White Elephant gifts, and fake mustaches can only mean one thing. Team Christmas Party! Joe's White Elephant gift (temporarily): Do It Yourself Ninja Turtle Kit. I wish you could see his awesome neon tiger printed shorts he has on. Then you'd really get the full visual. Look at those nice sweaters and staches. I'm pretty sure the staches are wishful thinking for these three though. I just love it when you laugh so hard you get an ab workout :).

Everything Elsy: February 2011
http://thefutterers.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html
Wednesday, February 23, 2011. Monday Morning at 8:45, Joe and I were waiting for our scheduled appointment to see our Doctor. In the last couple weeks I've gone from tons of energy and feeling pretty normal to a lot of Braxton Hicks contractions, tons of pressure, and sometimes even saying something like "I feel like I'm just sitting on her head". I've even started to swell a little in my hands in right foot. But even in all the discomfort I try to always remind Elsy that she's worth it :). Our showers a...

Everything Elsy: August 2010
http://thefutterers.blogspot.com/2010_08_01_archive.html
Wednesday, August 25, 2010. Last night we took yet another friend to the airport. :( I love having people come, but man is it hard to see them leave. It is getting a little easier though since we can now say "See you in 4 months" so I'm thankful. Oh and I just couldn't allow Bread to go without a little parting gift of pink eye. And here I was bragging about not sharing it with the boys. Well, I guess I spoke too soon on that one. What a way for him to start back to college tomorrow, right? It was so nic...

Everything Elsy: 1 Month
http://thefutterers.blogspot.com/2011/02/1-month.html
Friday, February 11, 2011. We've been asked a ton of funny questions since we've been back in the states. I love it, because for the most part they just make me reflect on India and smile. The other day, while eating lunch with some girlfriends, I was asked, "What was the hardest thing about going? And then, what has been the hardest thing about coming back to the states? This might be my favorite question yet. and the answer came pretty immediately. Honestly, I think part of the busyness is self inflict...
