学問という言葉自体はそこそこ耳にするものの、実際問題この学問について理解している人、あるいは修めている人というのは、そこまで多くはないのではないでしょうか 実際、日本で暮らしている場合に 学問 というものに触れる機会を得るのは、恐らく高等学校からではないかと思います。 これは言うまでもなく、今までの 国語 英語 理科 社会科 という分類が概要的なことを教えていたということの証明であると同時に、高等学校以降に於いてはそれらを更に細分化して、掘り下げていくのだということを示唆しているに違いありません。 なぜ学問を勉強することが 社会 のためにも有益であるのか それは、学問というのがいずれも、少なからず実利を孕んだ存在であるがためです。 どこに対して有益であるのか、というのはそのフィールドによって大きな差異がありますが、大きく分けると 文明益 と 文化益 の2つになるのではないでしょうか。 そこでここでは、まず学問のフィールドを大きく4つに分けて、それぞれがどのような学問をはらんでおり、それぞれが 文明益 と 文化益 どちらに所属しているものであるのかについて良く考えていきたいと思います。
